"I can see why youre named wanderer. Do you just travel without intent?" Firefly mostly asked because her habits of being on a need to know basis were showing. Much like a soldier following orders. Though the silence waiting for an answer was interrupted by a very loud, very embarrassing rumble of her stomach "I-..... Oh no." Her cheeks turned pink as she tried to cover up her embarrassment. "I suppose falling from the sky builds hunger...?"
"That's about the gist of it. I see no reason to travel the world and explore the sights, I've never understood the fascination with tourism. For other's sake, it's best I don't make a habit of showing my face." The Wanderer explained, without going into detail on what motivated him to travel. Listening to the sound from her body, it's been quite a long time since he's even heard of such a noise; Lacking the ability to recreate it. "Fatigue would cause hunger, that much is obvious."
"Well since you don't want to show your face....maybe you can help me with ingredients. I can make you a meal to make up for it... even though that doesn't nearly cover what I have to make up for." She had to cook for the others in the hunter crew when Kafka wasn't around. Blade would rather starve to death and silver wolf was too busy with her games to cook. These survival skills were necessary in the chance that she needed them during her service.
"I don't have the need to eat, you'd be better off saving the ingredients for your own bodily needs. I can fetch the ingredients, depending on what it is you want to prepare." This request made it very convenient that he was on the path to Konda Village. He could possibly find most of the ingredients there, assuming the locals are willing to hand them over in exchange for currency or trade. He was more than glad she was able to cook, unlike some people.
"Wait....you don't...." That was completely unexpected given how he looked so very human from the outside. Perhaps there was a piece of the puzzle missing but she didn't pry, taking him as a man of privacy. "Well, do you know what's local in this area? I'm hoping to prepare some sandwiches....i think I'm going to need the carbs anyways." She'd smile while walking beside him. "The meat...well let's see if we can find chicken..."
"If you're looking for regional specialties, you'd be better off visiting Ritou or Inazuma City. But that's if dealing with the locals to that extent is in your interest. We'll already be standing out amongst the locals." The Wanderer wasn't entirely opposed to the idea of purchasing their meals from the locals, but it'll get awkward quickly to appear in the public as these foriegn travelers. "But if we're going the local route, if anyone asks, you're a Traveler from Fontaine."
"Well you see I can't afford to really....buy anything...." Firefly said that statement with heavy hesitation. She usually didn't like asking for handouts when it come to physical money. She often liked exchanging moments with others more. "....Im sorry Id have to ask you for help with that.... But id rather be honest with you than try to play dumb towards you." Then she heard of Fontaine and she figured this was an alibi "I'll...try my acting skills aren't....great. What's Fontaine like?"
"To be expected, you aren't from around here. I'm not telling you that's what we should do, and the suggestion isn't only applicable to that. Those Sandwiches are still on the table." The Wanderer clarified, again emphasizing they had the final say given the fact they're the one that had to eat it. He was just there to deal with anything that would naturally be outside of her window of experience, like addressing the locals within a foreign land. "So. Your decision."
"I-I'm happy to try something local if it isn't too much! I'm not very picky....except for desserts... but I'll get those on my own in the future." Firefly was making it clear that she didn't want him ti spend a fortune on her....shes already done that before "But this....Fontaine? What's it like? If I get asked questions I have to try to fit the part..."
