his teacher's monotone voice faded from his mind almost automatically, along with the chalk squeaking against the board making him wince as he couldn't concentrate. his defeat from last night still on his mind. all because of a stupid girl. .
his grip tightened slightly on the pen in his fingers as he tried to stay calm and keep his focus on his lesson even though he didn't want to.
"wow what's going on dude?" Jake asked him, almost immediately noticing his best friend's state.
Jungwon sighed lightly as he turned his gaze to his best friend. "I still can't believe Heeseung won last night that's all... I never lose to him normally."
"ah that's why?" questioned Jake who was strangely no longer surprised by his best friend's behavior, knowing that the latter hated to lose in any thing he did. "Listen, it happens that you finish second and it's nothing serious, tell yourself that next time you will be first again and you will once again have your place as the strongest in the group. ."
Jungwon knew perfectly well that his best friend was reassuring him for a totally stupid reason but he couldn't bring himself to be second, even if it was just for once. "Nah that's not it dude."
Jake immediately frowned, lost as to what Jungwon was saying, "wait, what are you telling me? It's clear that you're sad about having lost, you just have to accept it, Jungwon, it happens to everyone. "
