For a while now
I'm just hanging around
You know how things are going with me right now.
At this moment, it feels like I'm in a no-time zone frame—
Just chilling out and doing my own thing.Mostly... occasionally
Minding my own personal businessAs we walked together through the ancient kingdom
I couldn't help but take in the view around me.
The architecture, the people, the atmosphere
It was all so different from the world I knew.Like where I came from
It's all different
This is a whole different atmosphere like I'm in a adventure time frame
In an adventure time zone
Where no time or space existed"This is where the kingdom stands by where everything has taken place," Mahad
He began as his voice carrying a hint of pride.
"There's so much history here. It's a lot to take in." Mahad
"Quite a view," Yuza
I agreed glancing around..
While I'm also distracted as the atmosphere distracts me"It is. We work hard, thriving alongside this place we've built. Our efforts are in every stone, every road. We reinforce everything to protect it." Mahad
"It's impressive to see how much work goes into it. I can tell you all take your responsibilities seriously," Yuza
I replied..
Genuinely admiring the dedication that was clear in every detail of the kingdom.
Mahad nodded thoughtfully."It has been that way for many years.
We never thought we'd reach this point, but ever since we arrived, we've committed ourselves to the kingdom. We serve the pharaoh, and in doing so, we uphold everything that makes this place strong." Mahad"I see... that kind of dedication must mean a lot to you," Yuza
I said..
Thinking of how fulfilling it must be to have such purpose."It does. I love serving the pharaoh, and I take my duties very seriously. It gives me a sense of purpose," Mahad
He explained
His voice carrying a note of pride."That job must've been making you pretty strong," Yuza
He remarked with a soft smile,
My gaze got curious.Mahad chuckled lightly, nodding.
"Strength comes with responsibility. But it's not just physical strength—it's the strength of heart, mind, and spirit that we need most in serving the pharaoh and protecting the kingdom." Mahad
"It does come in handy," Yuza
My tone was thoughtful.
"I guess we all have our own battles to fight, don't we?" Yuza
"Well... that's true. Each and every one of us has our own struggles," Mahad
He said with a small smile.
"But yeah, it's an effort into every bit of making this what it is."Mahad
"Yeah... once it's there. It's already there" Yuza
As we continued walking
Mahad glanced at me curiously."By the way, what were you doing outside earlier?" Mahad
"I was stargazing," Yuza
"You do realized the pharaoh might want you to stay inside. It's for protection" Mahad
"I know but I can't stay inside for long. I'll get intoxicated. I just think stargazing would be a lot fun" Yuza
I said with a small smile.
"Stargazing? What's that?" Mahad
He asked, genuinely curious.
"It's when you watch the stars at night," Yuza
I explained.
"The sky is full of them, shining down. It's beautiful and peaceful. It's something I enjoy. It helps me think." Yuza
"That sounds wonderful," Mahad
He said, his voice softer now.
"It's clear that you have many things going on around you, and it's great to see you finding your place here." Mahad
"Well... you could say that," Yuza
I said with a laugh while appreciating his kind words.
"I guess it means something special to you, does it not?" Mahad
He inquired, his tone thoughtful.
"Yeah, of course. Let's just say it's something big. I just love stars" Yuza
I replied.
"When you were here last night, did you sneak out to gaze at them?" Mahad
He asked
A hint of concern creeping into his voice."Well... kinda..." Yuza
I admitted, a bit sheepish.
His expression shifted, becoming serious."Pardon my rudeness, but you do realize that anyone could see you, yes?" Mahad
He said as his brows were furrowing slightly.
"I know, but I was hiding where no one could see me. Don't worry... I'll be safe. You don't need to worry about me loving the stars," Yuza
I reassured him
"Some of that will not suffice. You know how people can still spot you. It is not as if you can hide just anywhere here" Mahad
He replied, his concern evident.
"Right... maybe I should just stay inside and forget about the stars. It's too dangerous right?" Yuza
I suggested
My voice trailing off."No..." Mahad
He stated firmly.
"What?" Yuza
I asked, surprised.
"Why do I not take you stargazing? Allow me to offer my company for the evening," Mahad
He proposed, a gentle smile gracing his lips.
"Really? You would do that for me?" Yuza
I responded
My eyes were lighting up with excitement."Indeed. I would be honored, even if it is for your sake. But you shall remain under my watch," Mahad
He said, his expression protective.
"Wow... I never expected you'd be willing to go with me. That's quite surprising, but I don't mind at all" Yuza
I replied, pausing for a moment.
"Thank you so much, Mahad. I'd love to see the stars with you." Yuza
"Yes... it would be very nice," Mahad
He agreed, a warm smile on his face.
