Author's POV
Zoya and Zaviyar were eagerly waiting for their wedding days. The family and friends were preparing for each day, making sure everything was as perfect as possible. The couple had requested for their nikkah, mehndi and barat to be hidden from the rest of the world so they could have a better time, without any interruptions. The family was more excited than the couple was. After all, no one had ever thought Zaviyar would get married. To them, he was the same, ruthless, cold and emotionless person whose sole purpose was to work in life. Even he didn't think he'd see his wedding preparations going on his house. Oh well, destiny made sure to give Zaviyar the reason to get married; Zoya.

She opened the car door, gave her keys to her guards, took off her sunglasses and walked into the office building. Everyone now knew who she was, and so no one had the guts to question her walking towards their boss's office. Except one person. Who was wanting her own death today. With a sinister look on her face, she walked to her and questioned with evilness in her tone,

"Who are you?" Her attention went to the person who questioned her. With a bored expression on her face, and a quick glance towards her watch, she looked up to the girl's face, who had the audacity to question her. Scratch that, she stared into the girl's soul, making her gulp in fear. She knew who she was; Zoya Mir, one of the most prominent business figures in the entire industry of architecture, the sassiest person who no one would want to mess with.

Zoya held up her ring finger, raised her eyebrow, and replied with venom in her voice, "Who me? I'm your boss's boss," The employees had gathered around by this time and were looking at the girl being insulted. "If you're satisfied, I'm leaving. If you're not, that's the door for the exit," Zoya marched past her and walked to Zaviyar's office.

She opened the door without knocking, the way Zaviyar had asked her to.

"And you expect me to-" Zaviyar was cut off as he looked up to see his gorgeous and beloved fiancé standing there with a smile on her face. He smiled back, which made the person he was talking to, gasp in shock. The man got up to look back at her. Seeing the man, all the color from her face drained, she turned pale. Zaviyar, who was attending a call from the reception, didn't see the brief encounter Zoya and the guy had. She quickly masked up the horror that was stretched upon her face. Zaviyar then politely asked her, "Zoey, please wait for five minutes, we're almost done," She nodded and left, pretty much deaf to his words. Her worst dream was right in front of her. One of her worst fears, her biggest weaknesses was there. Right there in front of her.

She walked to her car as quickly as possible, started it without thinking and drove to her house. She threw her bag on the couch, went to her bedroom, locked her door and the tears which she had held, now started flowing without any stop to them. Her past flashed in front of her eyes, with no mercy at all. She could die rather than seeing the cruel people from her past come back in their lives.

What was worse, was that Zaviyar was working with him, meaning he could harm Zaviyar. "No, no, first Aryan, then Zaviyar, never! I won't let you harm Zaviyar, woh meri jaan hai, us tak nahi pohanchna tumne," She trembled while saying those words to herself. For the first time in four years, she felt fear. She felt scared of losing Zaviyar.

(He's my life, you're not reaching him)

He walked out of his office, but his smile vanished upon seeing no one there. He was confused as to where she went, despite the fact he had asked her asked her to stay. His heart started pounding very fast, so he asked his receptionist about Zoya. The receptionist replied, saying that Zoya left. Why? She didn't tell anyone.  Zaviyar was now concerned that she might have been upset about him not paying attention to her. But then...it was very unlike her to mind something related to business.

He drove to her house and saw her sitting in a bathrobe in the living room, a cup of coffee by her side, a heating pad on her abdomen. He understood that she was on her period and probably needed the comfort and peace she got from him. He walked to her, but his steps stopped when he looked at how amazingly gorgeous she was looking. He couldn't move, her hair was on her face, her breath peacefully even, her face innocently cute.

Feeling an intense gaze on her, she opened her eyes to see her comfort zone standing right in front of her.
She loved the fact he was there, but she was also upset that she couldn't tell him about her past yet. She wasn't afraid of his reaction with her, she was afraid of the consequences everyone would have to face. She knew how over protective Zaviyar was of her and how he didn't let her get a single scratch on her, especially when he was with her. Knowing about her torturer, he'd burn him alive, which would cause a chaos in her life, which was peaceful, even if it was temporarily.

"Tum yahaan?" She innocently looked at him with her hazel-doe eyes.
(You here?)

"Zaahir hai, mere hone wali biwi mera office chhor kar aa jaye toh uspe check karna banta hai na?" He replied, sitting down next to her.
(Obviously, my wife-to-be left my office, so checking up on her was necessary, no?)

She smiled at him, though her heart was sinking at the thought of anything happening to him. He was her world, the only person who made her feel loved and wanted after her father.

A few minutes later, the doorbell rang and a few things were delivered by Zaviyar's driver. He brought the huge bouquets of flowers to her, making her grin widely. They were white roses, the same type he had used for their proposal. He then brought chocolates to her, which were her favourite ones, all full of caramel. She looked at him with a grateful smile, which he reciprocated with the same amount of love.

"When did you order these?" She asked, confused

"When you were sitting with your eyes closed," He walked to her, tucked her in the blanket she had pushed aside, turned on the tv and started watching movies with her. It was after a while, that he felt some weight on his shoulder, and he saw that she had slept on his shoulder, while snoring cutely. He smiled at her, admiring her sleeping form. Turning off the tv, he said with his eyes full of rage,

"You think you can hide it from me, Zoya. Don't worry, I'll let you take your time. But trust me, whenever I find out, your tormentor is seeing hell on this fvcking earth,"

He left a note for her, saying that he left after adjusting her head so she won't be hurt. He strictly warned her from coming to work tomorrow and that he'll visit her as soon as possible.

He left her house, his heart full of revenge and the desire to punish Zoya's torturer.
