Y/n pov:

I woke up feeling my throat being a little itchy, so annoying... I can't be sick now... Matt have to go on tour soon and I am going with...

I groaned and looked at Matt still being asleep, now making me think what the time was, I looked at my phone and it was 3 am... this is even more annoying... I need to go back to sleep we have to pack everything tomorrow; I really don't have the time for this...

I just coughed a bit and got back under the covers, cuddling closer to Matt since I suddenly got chills now...

Matt gladly cuddled me back as I sighed in relief, as I luckily fell back asleep.

Matt's pov:

I woke up as the sun hit my face from the gap in the curtains, I stretched a bit and looked down at Y/n who were fast asleep on my chest, I just smiled, how lucky am I to have such a beautiful girlfriend, I then ran my fingers through her hair.

She moved a bit and opened her eyes to look at me.

"Good morning pretty" I said as she smiled a bit at me.

"Morning handsome" she answered, a bit raspy, more then normal.

"How did you sleep?" I asked as she cuddled me closer and closed her eyes a bit again.

"Alright..." she said as I nodded my head kissing her forehead, It was a bit warm but I didn't think much of it.

"Want some breakfast? I can make us eggs" I asked as I looked down at her, she nodded her head yes and I smiled at her as I got up to do so, Y/n staying in bed to wake up a bit more.

Y/n pov:

Why did I just lie to the man I love.... No I did not sleep well... I feel awful... but I didn't want him to know... we have things to do... I can't be sick now.

Matt went to make us breakfast, so I slowly sat up to put on some sweats and one of his hoodies, it is still sooooo cold....

I then put on my slippers and went downstairs to Matt.

I went up behind him and cuddled him from behind, he then intertwined my fingers with his.

"good to see you up" he said and smiled a bit.

"Yea it was hard to get up today..." I said, trying not to cough.

"The food is almost done" he said as I smiled as I let go of him, he then turned around to hug me close and I liked that a lot cause I liked the feeling of his warm body.

"ready to eat?" he asked as I nodded my head.

We sat down and started to eat.

"You okay? You don't say much today" he asked as I nodded my head.

"yea... just tired... maybe a bit stressed about what to pack" I said as I giggled a bit as I coughed a little, then drinking my water to make it seem normal.

"Ah makes sense, don't be, you'll look amazing in anything you bring" he said as I smiled at him also blushing a bit.

We ate our food and wet on to pack our stuff.

I only felt worse throughout the day, as I was packing my suitcase it really hit me...

The pain in my throat, the urge to cough, getting chills then getting hot... I wanted some water so I tried to get up when a wave of dizziness hit me and I almost fell back on to the floor.

Matt's pov:

I was done with my packing and decided to help out Y/n, I walked in as I saw her trying to get up as she almost fell back down, I caught her right before she hit the ground.

"Wooooa, your okay hun?" I asked as she just shook her head no.

"Im sorry..." she then asked as I then got confused.

"For what?" I asked as she then covered her face with her hands as she let out a few tears, i then removed her hands as the back of my hand brushed her forehead a bit, it was warm, very warm...

"I.... I woke up at 3 am... I felt a bit sick but I let it slide... then I've only felt worse... and now I got dizzy..." she said as I looked concerned.

"It's okay, we all got sick, but I would have wished you would have told me as soon as you felt it... your burning up now..." I answered as I now put the things together from this morning, her raspy voice and her forehead being a little warm...

"I know... I just wanted my packing done... so we didn't have to stress..." she said as I hugged her close as she hugged me back.

"you didn't have to think about that... I want you to feel good before we leave... so, now lets get you better alright?" I said kissing her forehead as she nodded her head.

I picked her up in bridal style to get her to our bed, I put her under the covers and she smiled at me.

"thank you" she said as I smiled back at her.

"Anything for my poor baby" I said trying to make her laugh a little. She giggled but the giggle then turned into a cough.

"I'll get you some water and some medicine, then I'll order some noodle soup and we can watch some Disney, sounds good?" I asked as she nodded her head at me.

I did everything I told her and she fell asleep on my chest during the movie, the order was here but I let her sleep, I chose to just reheat her soup when she wakes up from her nap.

She did have a bad case of the flu, and I took good care of her until she was all good, she got better the day before we had to leave for the tour and we were both really happy about that.
