The Sleepover

Fair

Hannah's POV

I wake up to Sierra kicking me so I punch her leg, "You whore stop kicking me you woke me up." "You're a whore shut up" she replies sleepily. I laugh and open my phone to see that it's 11:30 so I sit up. I'm the first one awake so I look over and see Camilla sleeping peacefully, God she's beautiful.

I get up and walk into the kitchen and pour myself a bowl of cereal. I sit down at the kitchen table and watch YouTube as I eat. I look over and see Charlotte sitting up and stretching, "Good morning sleeping beauty" I mock. "Hey that's what I say" Charlotte replies. She gets up and walks into the kitchen and pours herself a bowl of cereal too.

She sits down across from me, "Why are you up so early?" Charlotte asks. "Because Sierra's bitch ass kicked me awake" I grumpily answer. She laughs, "Yeah she did that to me yesterday, its annoying" she replies. I nod and take another bite.

I look over at Camilla who turned around and she's facing us. "Uh hello, are you okay?" Charlotte asks. I snap out of the trance she always puts me in, "Yeah sorry I just spaced out" I answer. She gives me a skeptical look but then drops it, "Oh okay." That was close, I cannot let her know I like Camilla, I love Charlotte but she has the biggest mouth when it comes to secrets.

Me and Charlotte scroll tiktok on our phones until Camilla wakes up. Camilla opens her eyes and sits up, "what time is it?" I smile, she looks cute with messy hair, "It's 12:15" I answer. She nods and yawns, and gets up into the kitchen. She pours herself cereal as well and sits down at the table. "Hey guys, theres a fair going on today, can we go?" Charlotte asks. Oh my god I love fairs! "Yes can we go please" I beg looking at Camilla. She smiles, "Yeah why not, once I'm done with my cereal we can start getting ready" Camilla replies. Yay.

She finishes, "Charlotte wake Sierra up" Camilla tells Charlotte. She smiles mischievously and then jumps on Sierra. "Owwww you bitch, get off me" Sierra yells. Everyone dies laughing besides for Sierra, "I was not expecting that but that works too." Camilla says between laughs. Sierra rolls her eyes "That was not funny, what time is it?" Sierra says annoyed. I calm down long enough for me to answer, "it's 12:25."

Sierra gets up and walks into the kitchen to make some toast, "why did you wake me up to begin with?" We all calm down, "We're going to a fair once everyone gets ready" Camilla answers. "Oh yay I love the fair" Sierra responds. She sits down at the table while me and Charlotte go upstairs to get ready.

"I don't know what to wear" I tell her. "Those are my favorite words from you, let me see what you got" Charlotte replies. I open up my suitcase to show her and she goes through it. She puts down a band tee and black jean shorts, "This is it" Charlotte tells me. It's not the worst, "it's cute, thanks." I reply, grabbing the clothes and walking to the bathroom.

I walk back out to see Charlotte picking clothes out for Camilla. Charlotte notices me, "I should become a fashion star look at you!" I laugh, "thank you." Camilla looks at me and smiles, "yeah you look really good." I can feel my cheeks get hot, "Thank you" I reply as calmly as possible. I shouldn't be this affected by a compliment but it's from Camilla, it's very hard to be calm about a compliment that came from the person you've been in love with for 3 years.

Sierra comes upstairs and opens her suitcase and she pulls out jeans and a tank top. She goes to change into the bathroom and I'm guessing she's still half asleep since she didn't say anything. I sit down on Camilla's bed, watching Charlotte put Camilla's outfit together. Camilla goes and changes and comes back out in a blue tube top and blue jean shorts. Goddamn she looks hot. "I'm gonna go order the cab, be ready in 10 minutes" Camilla says as she walks downstairs.

I've already done my hair and I've put on mascara so I go downstairs too. I sit on the couch and go on my phone waiting. About 5 minutes goes by until Charlotte and Sierra come down, just in time for the cab. "Come on let's go" Camilla says. I get up and follow the girls outside, getting in the cab. "To the fair please" Camilla tells the driver. The driver nods her head and starts the car.

We finally arrive at the fair, full of people. We get out of the car, "eek I'm so excited!" Sierra exclaims. "I know me too!" I reply. Camilla laughs, "come on guys." We follow Camilla into the fair and we go to one of the rides.

Not even ten minutes go by until Sierra says "Im hungry." "You're always hungry" Charlotte replies. "Hey that's mean, it's not my fault" Sierra replies. I laugh, "let's go to one of the food stands, I kinda want a churro." We walk over to a stand and we all get a churro, "Oh my god I love churros" Sierra says as she takes a bite. "Me too" I reply. We decide to sit on a bench while we eat our churros.

"So are we gonna go on the small Rollercoaster?" Charlotte asks. "Yeah after we finish our food" Camilla answers. Charlotte nods and takes another bite, I finish first. "I love the fair" I announce. "I'm glad I found it on Google" Charlotte replies. "I'm glad you did too, I haven't been to a fair in awhile." I respond. "Me neither" Sierra says as she finishes her last bite.

I look straight ahead and see all kinds of different food stands, games, and a couple of kids rides. The last time I went to a fair was when I was 8, me and my dad went. Just a year later he would cheat on my mom and leave his only child and wife. I haven't seen him since, "You okay Hannah?" Charlotte asks me. I snap out of my self pity, "yeah this is just bringing up memories, the last time I've been to a fair was with my dad when I was 8." She hugs me, she's not really good at comforting people but her hugs are enough to make me feel better.

After a couple minutes everyone finishes their churro and we get up and walk to one of the rides. We get on the Rollercoaster and Camilla sits next to me and Sierra and Charlotte sit behind us. The ride starts and it speeds up and Camilla grabs my hand, It takes everything in me not to freak out. I look over to look at her and she has her eyes closed, it's really not that scary.

The ride ends and Camilla blushes as she realizes she's been holding my hand, she pulls away, "sorry I got a bit scared" Camilla says as she gets up. Charlotte looks at me with a smirk on her face, "it's not like that, she just got scared" I tell her rolling my eyes. "Right" Charlotte replies getting off as well. I really can't let Charlotte know I like her, the last thing I need is for her to accidentally tell Camilla and then it'll ruin the friendship.

We all get off and walk around, getting food, playing games, we didn't go on anymore rides though. Soon enough it starts getting dark and Camilla calls another cab to take us home. "We definitely gotta make it a tradition to do this once a year" Sierra says. "Yes we do," I reply. We fall into silence until the cab arrives, we all get in and Camilla tell the driver her address. Today was fun.
