Report: 1
Card Number:1
Card Name: The Magician
Character: Sunday
"If you were born weak, which God should you turn to for solace?"
The dream had been a haunting tableau of abandonment. He had stood alone in a vast, empty landscape. The people he had once trusted, the ones he had loved, had all vanished without a trace. Now he was all alone, devastated alone, no one in the Family, not even Robin, his beloved sister were here. Their absence had left him feeling utterly alone, lost and adrift in a sea of despair.
His eyes snapped open as he bolted upright in bed, his head pounding with the remnants of the nightmare. He looked around the unfamiliar room, trying to recall the events of the previous day. He remembers everything now, at least to the part where he has an encounter with Jade.
"You're awake," a familiar voice said, breaking through his haze. It was Himeko, the once-guest of The Family.
Sunday didn't know how to respond. He looked down at his hands, nervously entwined. The Astral Express crew had defeated him, and he felt a mix of shame and discomfort.
An awkward silence stretched between them. Sunday wasn't one for small talk, and Himeko doesn't seem to start a conversation anytime soon. His mind raced, trying to figure out what to say. He desperately wanted to ask about Robin, but something held him back. But the words slip off his tongue anyway.
"Do you by chance know what's happening to Robin?"
"If March 7th's information is correct, she's doing well," Himeko replied. "And I can assure you that March 7th's information is always accurate."
And Sunday longed for more details, but Himeko doesn't seem to get a hint and he doesn't want to ask further. The silence became oppressive, and Sunday felt increasingly uncomfortable. He looked down at his hands again, lost in thought. What will he do now? when he lost everything?
"If you're feeling lost and unsure what to do, why don't you join us?" Himeko suggested. "Maybe you'll find your answers here."
With that, Himeko left the room, leaving Sunday alone with his thoughts. He realized that Himeko, despite her reserved demeanor, was trying to be helpful. Perhaps it was time for him to consider her offer. After all, he had lost everything. The Oaks Family would never accept him back. Sunday Oak was no more. He was simply Sunday, alone and adrift in a world that seemed to have abandoned him.

Sunday sat in a daze, his mind a blank slate. He couldn't remember how long he had been sitting there, lost in thought. Then, he heard a soft knock at the door.
Trailblazer stood in the doorway, their expression a mix of concern and curiosity. Sunday felt a strange sensation wash over him, a feeling of weakness that he had never experienced before. Even after his defeat by the Astral Express crew, he had never felt so small and insignificant.
"Have you considered our request?" Trailblazer asked. "If you want to join us, you can put on these clothes. Otherwise, we can drop you off somewhere alone out there."
Sunday wasn't sure if Trailblazer was joking or threatening him. He felt overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. His mind raced, trying to process the situation. He had lost everything, and now he was being offered a chance at redemption. It didn't take long for Sunday to pick up the clothes. He ran his hand over the smooth silk, feeling a pang of surprise. The outfit was nicer than he expected. As he put it on, he couldn't help but feel a sense of transformation. He was no longer just Sunday, the defeated outcast. He was The Magician, a figure of power and potential. Something new...
--------------------------------------The Magician---------------------------------------------------
Since The Magician joined the Astral Express, it wasn't surprising that The Fool and their companion, March 7th, were drawn to them. Not Dan Heng, he wasn't the type to join along with their mischief and he thought highly of that, appreciating it. To their words, Trailblazer often claimed that The Magician was a very balanced person, both idealism and pragmatism. He can enact spiritual vision using the materials they have been given. Which himself felt surprised. He never noticed it.
Wand, that's what March 7th gives him, believing it would complement The Fool's point, she tells him to hold that wand cause it helps him be more "balanced"The Magician, however, was initially hesitant to accept the gift, feeling that it didn't suit his serious demeanor. But when March 7th explained that the wand remind her about the path of harmony, The Magician reconsidered. They decided to keep the wand in their room, perhaps as a symbol of their evolving identity.
When Pom Pom heard Himeko's praise of The Magician's ingenuity, they gifted him a workbench for their room.Of course he was grateful for it, they did a really good job on making him felt welcome. However, whenever The Magician looked at the workbench, he couldn't help but be reminded of the puppets they had created in his mind. Since then, their creative energy had been focused solely on puppetry. The workbench itself was a practical and useful tool, reminding The Magician of the desks he once had at Penacony. It provided a comfortable and inspiring space for their artistic endeavors.
Himeko gave him what she called "wand, cup sword and pentacle", it was basically the tools to aid his creative endeavors. He wasn't really sure why she called those tools that. But to her explanation, the Memokeeper once told her it represents the four elements: fire, wind, water, and earth. They also symbolized the four aspects of the psyche: intellect, feelings, corporeality, and spirit. By that he knows, with what she gives him, he can create the whole world with it. He cherish them.
Asta on Herta's Space station always greets The Magician with flowers, especially blossoms. While flowers weren't typically The Magician's preference, he always accepted them with gratitude and displayed them in hisroom. Asta saw The Magician as an angelic figure, and believed that flowers suited his gentle nature. She compared him to a garden in spring, blooming with dignity and grace. Asta blessed The Magician on their new path, wishing them a future filled with passion and success.
From Welt, he commented on The Magician's intelligence and the lingering unease in their mind. He noted that The Magician's halo, a symbol of their unique status, represented wisdom and holiness. Welt believed that The Magician's halo was a complete circle, unlike those of The Family, symbolizing a cycle of beginning and end. He saw great potential in The Magician, believing they would one day become the powerful leader that he had once been.
Dan Heng, he wasn't so sure about him. The Magician has never been close to Dan Heng, he knows nothing of him. But Dan Heng gives The Magician a girdle that looks like rose thorns. It clings to his stomach when he wears them, it wasn't really pleasant but he doesn't mind much. Dan Heng never told him but through March 7th, the thorn represents the unlimited potential he holds. He like that meaning
The clothing The Magician wore had been chosen by the entire crew. The white attire represented all colors, symbolizing perfection and purity. It was a blank canvas, like a piece of paper, waiting to be filled with the story of their journey. Just as The Fool had once been a new beginning, The Magician now held that role. He was the new beginning for the Astral Express.
No longer did The Magician need to ask, "If you were born weak, which God should you turn to for solace?" He had found their solace, their strength, in the bonds he had formed with their new family, the Nameless.
