The next morning, Roseanne woke up feeling incredibly comfortable—until she realized what, or rather who, she had been sleeping on. Trying to slip away slowly, she froze as a sleepy Jungkook instinctively held her tighter, hugging her like a plushie. Her heart pounded loudly in her chest as she dared to take a closer look at his face.

Her husband was undeniably handsome—the most handsome man she had ever seen. His eyes were closed, and he looked so peaceful and adorable. A stray lock of hair had fallen onto his forehead, and she gently brushed it back. He leaned into her touch and slowly opened his eyes, smiling sleepily.

"Good morning Rosie" he murmured.

Roseanne blushed furiously, barely whispering, "Good morning Kook," as she quickly turned her face away.

"You weren’t this shy when you decided to use me as your personal mattress," he teased with a soft, sleepy laugh.

She playfully hit him in the chest. "Get up and get ready for work," she scolded, trying to hide her embarrassment.

It had been a few days since their cozy movie night, and things between Jungkook and Roseanne had slowly shifted. While they hadn’t yet discussed the closeness that had developed, both of them were aware of the subtle change in the air.

One afternoon, Jungkook received a call from his mother. “Your father is leaving on a trip with his friends and I will be bored at home, so I decided I’ll be visiting you tomorrow for the weekend! I can’t wait to see you both and spend time with my son and daughter-in-law. I’m excited to see how you're settling into your married life.”

Jungkook’s heart skipped a beat. His mother? Visiting for the weekend? He glanced at Roseanne, who was playing with Hank in the living room, unaware of the conversation. The problem wasn’t that his mother was visiting, but the fact that she assumed they were living like a perfect married couple—sleeping in the same room.

He hung up and sighed. When he told Roseanne, her eyes widened. "What are we going to do?"

“She’ll be here tomorrow. I didn’t think she’d visit so soon,” Jungkook said. “We’ll have to make it look like we’re…you know…a real couple.”

Roseanne frowned. “What do you mean?”

“I mean… we’ll have to sleep in the same room. If she finds out we’ve been sleeping separately, she might get upset.”

Roseanne blinked. “Oh, right. We wouldn’t want to hurt her feelings.”

Jungkook nodded. “Don’t worry, it is just a temporary arrangement, I’ll move your essential things to my room, and we’ll figure out a way to explain it. Maybe we can say we use that room as your wardrobe and for Hank to have his own room to play.”

Roseanne looked at Hank, who was now wagging his tail happily. She smiled. “Yeah, we’ll just say Hank plays there, and it’s basically his room now.”

The next day, Jungkook’s mother arrived, her eyes lighting up when she saw Roseanne and Jungkook waiting for her at the entrance of their home.

“Oh, look at you two!” she exclaimed, hugging them both tightly. “I’m so happy to see you and Jungkook .”

As they showed her around the house, they reached Roseanne’s room, which was now filled with Hank’s toys and bedding.

“Don’t tell me you have a seperate room Rosie?” his mother asked curiously, peeking inside.

“Oh, um… it’s Hank’s room Mom,” Roseanne explained, pointing to the dog lounging on his bed. “He sort of took over.”

Jungkook’s mother smiled. “That’s adorable. Well, I’m glad to see you three are such a cute family.”
