(☆chapter 1☆)-(💙♿️)-(🧡👑)
It was a calm evening, the wind breeze was slow, yet relaxing. Dave was sitting on the counter. He was a shorthair tuxedo gray cat with no back legs, the humans put a type of wheel prosthetic on the back of his legs, or what was left of his legs, it was a semi-big metal wheel that was chained up to a blue harness he was wearing to allow him to walk, while still being harnessed. His brown eyes shone as the sunlight bounced them. He was sitting on a smooth porcelain counter with speckles of orange and silver marble, a large window laid on the side of the counter, it was always a treat to sit beside the window, the sun shone brightly and warmly against the glass that separated dave and the sun, he never dared to go outside, he couldn't imagine the wilderness, all alone, with predators too! He would never, not in a billion-

"Still looking at the window again? I thought you said you would never go outside in the wilderness, yet you stare at it all day."

David, his long haired orange tabbed brother interrupted his thoughts, Dave's ears tucked down hearing David's snarky remark

"I just like relaxing here, give me a break, will you?" Groaned dave, David pounced onto the counter beside Dave and tipped his
tail to the window opening,

"don't you just wanna go outside, since you love nature so much?" David mocked, Dave shuffled his paws from David, his ears tucked down and his fur prickled. His tail lashed, he tried to keep
his fur from bristling.

"That's the exact opposite of what I want!!" Murmured
Dave, "why don't you go if you want me so much?"

David looked at him and gave him his back
"I'm too pretty and wonderful to be outside with all the other rodents, it would fit you perfectly!" He purred teasingly
While licking his paws elegantly, he always kept his fur clean and dandy, one of David's tiny amount of good traits. But it wasn't out of the ordinary, cats were naturally clean creatures, from the most glutinous of pampered felines, to the most skittish of strays.

"So, you're calling me a rodent?" Dave hissed, David then smirked at dave. "Well, indeed," he said. daves fur stiffened and his tail lashed, David chuckled to himself and went to his cat scratcher and jumped up to the highest ledge, he laid down and let the sun go through him, letting the golden sun shine through his striped fur.
