Dave looked around nervously for Tristan, still, he was nowhere in sight. Dave was sick with worry. He could feel his heart beating so fast it might as well run out of his chest, he was hyperventilating, and hated it. If only this was a dream, no, if only just a bad nightmare, and Tristan would wake him up, if it was, he would be the happiest cat, no, the happiest FATHER in the world. His parental instincts kicked in and he started running around the house, his wheels skidded on the floor.
I've looked for hours.....Is he...is he outside...alone....? ......no.....he would never do that.....right?
Dave ran across the floor, room to room, calling out Tristan's name, yet, no one answered him. Finally he peeked through the small slit that opened the window, wondering if Tristan had left the house. He didn't wanna believe that, he'd never wanna believe that. Just thinking of Tristan all alone in the wilderness made his fur prickle and his tail tucked under his wheel-chair. He just had to go, no matter how scary it was, He had to do it. For tristan.
