Abhi and Akshu were peacefully sleeping in their bedroom. Suddenly, Abhi felt a slight weight on his chest. He slowly opened his eyes, and the sight before him was enough to make his heart skip a beat. His beautiful wife, Akshu, was sleeping half on top of him. Her face rested against his bare chest, her mouth slightly open, with a few strands of her hair covering her face.

A soft smile formed on Abhi's lips as he carefully tucked the stray strands of hair behind her ear, wanting a clear view of her peaceful face. No matter how they fell asleep at night, Akshu always ended up clinging to him, almost as if she was afraid, he might disappear in her dreams.

Abhi gently caressed Akshu's pink cheeks with his knuckles, his eyes filled with love and admiration. "How can someone look so cute and beautiful even while sleeping?" he whispered to himself, captivated by the serenity on her face.

Just then, Akshu stirred in her sleep, her face scrunching up slightly into a pout. In a barely audible voice, she mumbled, "You girls, stay away from Abhi. He's mine! Dare any of you try to come near him, and I'll break your legs. Don't worry, Abhi, I'll protect you from them."

Abhi couldn't help but chuckle softly, shaking his head at Akshu's words. Her possessiveness was both adorable and amusing to him. Even in her dreams, she was protecting her handsome husband from other women. He felt a rush of affection as he watched her sleeping face, her devotion to him clear even in her unconscious state.

He could have stayed there, staring at Akshu forever, but his phone suddenly rang, breaking the moment. Not wanting to disturb Akshu's peaceful sleep, he quickly picked up the call. It was from the hospital; there was an emergency, and they needed him.

Abhi ended the call and turned his gaze back to Akshu's serene face. A hint of reluctance crossed his eyes. He hated leaving her alone, especially when she looked so peaceful, but his duty as a doctor couldn't be ignored.

As he tried to gently free himself from her embrace, Akshu instinctively tightened her grip, her hold on him growing stronger. Still murmuring in her sleep, she repeated, "Stay away from Abhi... he's mine."

Every time Abhi tried to move, she clung even more tightly to him, refusing to let go. After a long struggle, he finally managed to free himself, replacing his warmth with a pillow for her to hold onto. He carefully tucked the quilt around her to make sure she stayed warm.

With a soft sigh, Abhi rushed to the shower. Fifteen minutes later, he came back to the room, fully dressed for the hospital, and smiled when he saw Akshu. She was wrapped in the quilt like a burrito, clinging to the pillow as if it were him.

Before leaving, Abhi asked the servant to bring a rose from the garden. He quickly wrote a small note, placing it on the lamp table beside the bed along with the rose. Bending down to Akshu, he gently caressed her cheek, then kissed her softly on the lips and forehead.

"I love you and miss you already, Akshu," he whispered in her ear.

With one last loving glance at his sleeping wife, Abhi turned and left for the hospital, his heart already yearning to return to her.
