“Even though I know I have no chance, I'm still here admiring you”.______________________
Park Seo Jun, he stood tall, his dark eyes helding a quiet intensity, features definitely admirable. There was something striking about him - handsome in a way that felt effortless with tousled hair that seemed effortless in every way. Styled in simple clothes made him look more elegant.
Eun Ji wanted nothing more than to run, to escape without looking back, but something in her wouldn't let her. Her feet were stuck to the floor, and with a sharp breath, she forced herself to turn around. She couldn’t bring herself to meet his eyes, her gaze stuck to the floor.
“Yah, so it is really you, Oh Eun Ji!” His voice was like a melody. The sound of her name on his lips sent a shiver through her.
Slowly, she gathered the courage to look up, only to be met with Seo Jun’s gaze. Those familiar dark brown eyes seemed to pierce through her, making her heart skip.
That same old feeling she thought she'd forgotten started lingering in her heart, wrapping around her like a cold breeze. Words stuck in her throat, refusing to come out.
Lisa nudged her, snapping her back to reality. Eun Ji blinked, quickly regaining her senses.“I… I didn’t expect to see you here, what a coincidence, Seo Jun!” she stammered, her voice shaky but steady enough to carry the words.
Lisa, sensing the awkward tension, smiled nervously, stepping in to ease the moment. “Ah, well, fancy running into you here, right? It’s been a while.”
“You are right”, Seo Jun said with a deep sigh and continued “It has been a year, we last met in high school farewell”. He said as he nodded his head.
“How come you’re here?” Lisa asked curiously, glancing at Seo Jun.
“Ah… well, that’s because…” Seo Jun began, but his voice trailed off, leaving the sentence unfinished. Before he could continue, a voice cut through the air behind them.
“Seo Jun-ah!” Eun Ji’s heart sank as a pair of arms wrapped around him from behind. The sudden gesture felt like a sharp reminder of reality. Her eyes flicked away, a knot forming in her stomach.
“At the right time, it is because of her, Hyun. She is a bookworm, I heard this library had a good collection so I took her here”. Hyun had a wide grin on her face, bowing down a bit as she greeted both the ladies.
Both greeted each other in return and Eun ji asked “This is….” wanting to know the relationship between both, but Seo jun’s words left her in utter silence.
“This is my girlfriend, Kim Hyun”. Seo Jun said as he took her hands in his. A small smile formed over Eun ji’s face “Congratulations” she said feeling broken inside. She knew this would happen but she wasn't able to accept the truth.

Before a year
“Eun ji, he is coming! Be ready.” whispered one of her friends from the corner of the corridor.
Teen Eun ji, in her school uniform with a card and a rose in her hand waited for that one person, biting her lips, her heart racing with each footstep.
There he comes Park Seo Jun, the love of the school girls. Eun ji had a crush on him since the start of the day, her classmates were jealous of her because Seo Jun and Eun ji were neighbors.
“Ahh” Eun ji cursed beneath her breath as she saw Seo Jun coming with one of his friends chit chatting.
“It is alright, you can do it Eun ji-ah” getting back the courage she called out to him as soon as he arrived near her. But Seo Jun's friend interrupted her “Seo Jun today is white day, who do you have in mind to give the gift?” Eun ji soon hides her card.
“Ah I have a person in mind, it is Class monitor”. As soon as he spoke those words, Eun ji felt a pang in her heart, it felt like the world was coming down, words struck in her throat, tears giving her warning to come out of the eyes.
“Oh! Eun ji, what is it?” Seo Jun asked, noticing her. “Nothing, I wasn't just going to ask if you saw Teacher Kim”. She buried her words deep down.
“Alright, see you in the evening”. Seo Jun said and Eun ji nodded in agreement.
Warm tears left her eyes as soon as he left, her friend ran towards her “How did it go?” she asked with a huge grin on face not noticing her tears.
Eun Ji cried out loud hugging her friend “Yah, are you alright?” her friend said as she patted Eun ji who was now a crying mess.

Present
Remembering the time, she still had a room for her long lost love but she needs to get rid of those unwanted feelings which keeps making it harder for it.
“Eun ji, I gotta go now. I will reach out to you soon”. Park Seo Jun said as the couple bid them goodbye and went from there.
“Eun ji-ah”. The concern in her tone is evident to Eun ji, she spoke to her mind “I hoped a bit too much, I can't have you but I will be just an admirer Seo Jun”.
“I am alright Lisa, let's go”. Eun ji signed her friend to follow her, and suddenly a news flashed on the big screen of the library catching the attention of both the ladies.
“Again there is a rise in the sales of the series “Entangled Love” and the present ongoing series “The Truth”. The reported sales are 2 million. The author of the book Writer Kim, as his pen name goes, his identity is still unknown to the entire world”.
“Writer Kim…” Eun Ji whispered, her voice barely audible, as if the name itself carried a weight she couldn’t quite place. There was something about it—an inexplicable pull that stirred a quiet sense of attraction deep within her.
It felt familiar, yet distant, as if the name held a secret she was meant to uncover.
The news continued “The fans are really eager to know who he really is…..” Eun ji’s eyes were still on the screen staring at the bold letters which said “Writer Kim”.
The story has begun, broken hearts to fix, unknown feelings to hide.
