🎼 HOZIER - Too Sweet 🎼

Korean nightclubs in general are pretty similar to each other, but Gangnam MASS is more unique. It's divided into a communal dance floor and private rooms.

Just the right place for gatherings like ours, if you ask me.

The people who attend this nightclub are often older. Since it is a more expensive, higher quality nightclub, the atmosphere is also better.

Which of these things attract people like me?

Adults. Who, unlike teenagers, have unlimited access to alcohol.

After a hard work routine they come here to drown their worries and anxieties with strong alcohol, in an attempt to relax and get temporary pleasure, losing track of shots they have taken.

They become more available.

In every way your mind can think of.

All you have to do is pick one, apply the slightest amount of persuasion and that's it - that person goes with you to your private room. On his own free will, unaware of what he's signed up for. And yet, what happens behind those closed doors, never leaves that room.

The key is to not forget to wipe the man's memory, when you have finished feeding. Of course, if he suddenly runs out and starts screaming, claiming he was attacked by a vampire, no one will believe him. People would just smile and shake their heads, wondering how many glasses of alcohol he had drunk to say such a nonsense.

But still, it wasn't worth the risk. Better keep a low profile.

Mostly I drink donor's blood. Have some connections in a hospital, which provides me the amount of blood i need to survive.

But sometimes I allow myself to catch some bastard with dirty thoughts among the crowd, and after feeding on him, as payment, I use my compulsion on him, changing his mind a bit. Simple thoughts to change his way of living.

Some would say, that I am playing God or something. No. It's not about it. All i do, is just trying to make this world a little bit better. Safer.

Yeah, i know, it's odd to hear that from the vampire. But who cares, if no one knows, right?

I have a regular membership, one of the VIP rooms is always ready and open for me. I leave enough tips for the working staff, so they don't ask too many questions, while doing their job.

After wandering around the world for a long time, I returned to my homeland about a year ago. And was going to settle here, in Seoul, for a while, a couple or three decades to be exact.

I was turned at the age of 25 and had been looking the same for a century. Which was pretty comfortable.

People, upon first meeting, see me as an attractive young man, and it's not until about 20 years later, that they start to notice that my looks hasn't changed. I can drag out this farce for a couple more years, joking that I lived a healthy lifestyle, have had a couple plastic surgeries and so on and so forth.

Still, the time will come eventually, when I'll have to leave again.

If I had been turned at a more mature age, that time frame would have been much shorter.

I sighed, unbuttoning my jacket as I sat in my VIP room. One of my good qualities was punctuality, which couldn't be said about my friends. So I had been waiting for their arrival for some time now.

The club staff had prepared a bottle of Hibiki for me in advance. I took a glass and poured myself a whiskey. It had a really nice aroma, sweet and almost honey like. I grinned contentedly as I sipped the liquid - I would have to thank the owner for buying this Japanese whiskey. It was a really good choice.
