AHAAN'S POV
Dron is actually way too happy at this moment than his usual happy moments. I never saw him this excited and beaming like a ray of sunshine. So her forgiving him must be really important for him.
With that we reached the Venue and carried the gifts ourselves, as dadi mentioned or more like ordered us to do some work like a man rather than keeping our nose inside that 6 inch screen.(A/n- Ladke toh hote hi free ke majdoor hai , low maintained people)
Being a desi in videsh isn't easy.
You have to be sanskaari and know your roots along with matching the energy of westerns.
Like the fuck you mean, bursting Hindi songs at full volume at fucking 7 AM. This neighborhood is going to be traumatized for years. But who cares. Desi weddings are best."Dadiiiiii" Aryan shouted as he spotted her after 10 minutes of roaming around, and greeting people we met when we were barely 3 or 4.
"Where were you four?" Dadi asked in a stern voice after she excused herself from some people.
Dron being the bold one said or whispered which was only audible to me and Shivam
" We called you all at least 10 times to ask where you were but you didn't answer."" Kya? Thoda tez bolo" She said in a confused voice, which was still enough to make shut.
"Kuch nhi dadi mein keh rha tha hum wo aapko hi dhundh rhe the"
"Oh, you should have called us na"
" We di-"
"Dadi ye saare gifts kaha rakhe, they are really heavy" I asked her, cutting him off.
"Wait I will ask someone to guide you" she stopped a waiter and asked him to take us to the room where we have to keep the gifts.
We followed him to the main hall, from there to the staircases going upstairs. He stopped out side the door and tolded us to go inside and keep the gifts.
We followed is instructions and opened the door to find a girl talking to someone on call.AFRA'S POV
Today was my maths examination but instead of writing it,I had to take a false sick leave and i landed here in Canada attending an engagement of some random person I actually don't know or more like remember.
But anyways, who cares? I would still be cooked if I had attempted that exam.
The crowd downstairs was so annoying that I had to make an excuse of a headache to get out of that place. And now I am talking to my besties or more like complaining, whining and bitching. Right now we are talking about a cute little girl who dropped her cup of coffee on my Lehanga, but I was too busy looking at her puffy red cheeks.
"Arre I'm telling you both she was cute that I wanted to bite those cheeks of her" I exclaimed.
" Ek time pr mein bhi cute hua krti thi" Shivanya grinned.
"Mein bhiii" Shreya added, as she was the baby of the group.
"Ofcourse shreyu tu tho-"
I paused as I noticed 4 guys entering the room carrying gifts.
