We both run, passing many streets with no destination mind. It's a escape from all of the drama in my life. I can hear my heartbeat and breathing, its a little concerning to me that its the only thing I can hear. Silver let's me run ahead so I can take the lead. I stop when I'm completely out of breath and we end up at a park. We must be on a completely different part of the city, I don't recognize where we are.
I catch up on my breath and run towards the swings. I choose the closest on to me and stand on it, taking hold of the bar above it. I turn the swing and it twist up, just like it did when I was a little kid except, I would be sitting as someone turned the swing instead of standing. I sit down, releasing the bar, and watch my surroundings fly past me as the swing spins opposite of the way I twisted it.
"What are you doing?" Silver asks me, laughing at my childish behavior.
"You've never did this as a kid?" I ask him and he shakes his head no.
"Come here, I'll show you." I wave him over to me, standing up so he can sit down. He reaches me and I push him into the swing set. I turn the swing until it can't go any further.
"Are you ready?" I ask
"For what?" As soon as the words leave his mouth, I release the swing. The swing turns and he laughs loudly. I smile at the fact that he's actually having fun. When it stops, I run to the Mary- Go- Round and Silver follows close behind. My hands grab two of the poles that point towards the middle and I keep holding on as I sit in the middle.
"Spin it," I tell him, holding on tighter to the poles, and he complies. When starts going really fast, I wrap my legs and arms around one of the poles I'm holding onto.
"Get on!" I scream at him, and he grabs onto two of the poles but instead of sitting, like me, he stands. I am defiantly not brave enough to stand, Im afraid that I'd be too weak to keep holding on and fly off. He lets go of the poles and holds out one of his hands for me to grab.
"Not happening, Nu- uh. I am not dying on a Mary- Go- Round tonight." I tell him in disbelief that he's even standing. He just bends down and pries one of my arms off of the only thing that's keeping me from flying off.
"Your not going to die, trust me." At his words I take his hand, clinging to his arm. I have no clue how he's keeping us standing without flying off, maybe its one of his super powers. It slowly starts to stop and we get off.
"Where to next?" He asks me
"I thought the point was to not to know where we are going." I say shrugging.
"If you want to go somewhere we can go." He tells me
"Nope, so where are we going?" I ask
"No clue." We keep walking on the side walk for a while. I realize that we are still holding hands, it's not that it bothers me, It's quite the opposite actually. His hand is cold against mine, I bet mine feels the same in his.
"You like holding my hand." He says, not asking, It's more of a statement. I blush in embarrassment.
"It's okay, I don't mind holding yours either." He tells me and I smile at his comment. Many minutes pass and I become tired.
"Carry me." I tell him, he laughs thinking that I'm joking.
"I'm not kidding, I'm tired." I say, I get grumpy when I'm tired.
"Do you want me to take you back home?" He asks
"Yeah," I tell him but I really don't want him to leave me. He pulls me close to him and I close my eyes knowing what's to come next. Silver begins dancing across my closed eyelids, when it clears I open them, Now we are in my room.
He releases me and walks over to my bed as I walk into my bathroom to get ready for bed. I take off my mask first, then change, and do everything I usually do to get ready for bed. When I open my bathroom, I'm surprised to find Silver still laying on my bed. I thought he would have left by now.
"You didn't want me to leave," He says answering my thoughts, not looking towards me but at the sealing instead.
"You know it's considered invading my privacy when you read my thoughts." I tell him crossing my arms.
"I can't stop myself from listening to them." He tells me
"Whatever you say," I roll my eyes at him and climb into my bed next to him.
