We walked inside the cafeteria to get my schedule, our hands intertwined.

It wasn't until I saw the look on Aspen's face that I realized what I was doing was in public.

"Hey A!" I said happily, half expecting her to yell in my face. She must be thinking 'I thought he was a no good player who bailed on you and we were over him' as she looked Jesse up and down.

He must've noticed because he tried to make a non awkward segway by saying "uhh, Dyl, I'll go get your schedule, aight?"

He looked down at me for reassurance while walking away. I nodded.

Aspen and I watched him as he walked over to the B desk. "What about Stiles?? Dylan what are you thinking?"

I was still smiling at Jesse.

The way he interacted with the school staff was too cute. He got all frustrated when he had to repeat "I know I'm not Dylan Blake, I'm giving her schedule to her, yo."

His accent was so raspy and sexy

"Helllllo earth to Dylan." Aspen snapped in my face. "What's the prob, A? I mean Stiles is just like every guy I date. I want a change!" I explained.

"And you think that junkie is the healthy type of change you need?" She looked at me with disgust.

"A, you don't know him. He's more than that." "Oh and what you know him a lot more?" She asked. I thought about that.

I've been going to school with him for half my life and I've never really talked him.

I mean I could totally see him staring at me in classes and I said the occasional "hello" but nothing more.

I didn't really know him.

"No, but I want to get to know him. And who knows what this could turn into. Just don't judge a book by its cover." I smiled as he walked over to us. "Dylan Blake, here is your schedule. We have chemistry 3-4 with Mr White 1st period."

He licked his lips and scratched the back of his neck.

"Wonderful! Have you met Aspen?" I motioned towards her.

His face fell, as if he expected me to take my clothes off because he gave me my schedule.

None the less he replied "not really no." "Well, she's my best friend." Aspen put her hand out. "Hello Jesse, nice to meet you." He looked as if he had never seen a hand shake before.

He blinked a few times in a row before shaking. "Yo, cool deal, Aspen."

I smiled. They seem to be getting along for their first interaction.

"So, I was thinkin, maybe we could like get some breakfast or somethin?" He asked me. He was like a little puppy who couldn't live on his own.

We walked out of the cafeteria and into the hall. "Jesse, you skipped breakfast? That's not good for a growing boy." I said sarcastically. Aspen giggled.

We walked in a line, me in the middle, Jesse on my right and Aspen on my left.

"Well I usually skip first and second to sleep in another hour and get McDonalds." Aspen gave me a 'see I told you he's not a good guy' look.

"Jesse, you can't just skip class. we can get breakfast in the morning before school how does that sound?" I took his hand and he looked down at them and than up at me.

"We?" He asked.

"Yeah, I mean I figured we should hang out." I told him.

Aspen told us her class was in the J building and turned left before saying goodbye.

"The Dylan Blake wants to hang out with me?" He asked me in a funny voice. He made his eyes get all big and acted excited. I shoved him and laughed.

" I thought the boy was supposed to do all the asking out." He looked at me as we stopped in the hallway.

Our class was a couple feet away and he pushed me up against the wall next to the door.

It was just like summer at the football field.

He once again put his hands above my shoulders. "Yeah, well girls can do whatever they want." I looked into his bright blue eyes and saw his pupils get bigger.

"What if I don't want you doing whatever you want?" He continued, his breath getting faster

"I can't let the men have all the power." I bit my lip. Holy shit he smelled so good. He smirked.

He was being so sweet earlier I forgot he was a bad boy. "I like the way you think Blake." He got real close. We. Are. Going. To. Kiss. I could feel it.

Right before I leaned in, "Pinkman, leave her alone and get to class!" Mr White yelled.

I guess the ball had rang.

Whoops.

You lose track of time when you're 3.4 seconds away from making out with the hottest bad boy in the school.

"Mr. White, it's okay, he wasn't doing anythi-"

"Dylan Blake?" He interrupted me.

"Yes, sir?"

Mr White just looked at us confused. I wouldn't blame him. We were two very different people. It's not everyday you see a junkie and a prep almost break out in passionate kissing.

"Yo, mind ya own damn business." Jesse said.

"Jesse let it go" I whispered. I held on to his hand.

"Pinkman, this is the first day so I will let you off with a warning. You don't speak to me with that tone. Take your seats." He opened the door for us.

We walked in and everyone was quiet, they obviously all heard and were stunned that we were together. I mean we weren't together together. yet. maybe. at least I don't think so. I don't know.

There were 2 seats at a table in the 2nd row. We both looked at each other and darted towards them.

As we took our seats someone from behind me tapped my shoulder.

"Hey."

It was Stiles.

Great.

Act casual.

"Oh hey Stiles." I said.

I blushed. "You're lookin good, Blake." He told me and I smiled and turned to face the front again.

"Oh come on." Jesse looked at me.

His expression was a little upset and taken back.

"What?" I asked getting my notebook out of my purse. "Him again?" He pointed back with his thumb. "We're just friends, Jesse. Jeez you get jealous fast."

He got defensive. "Jealous? I'm not jealous of that piece of shit. Dylan don't make me laugh. Ha. Ha." I smirked, and touched his hand on the table.

"Calm down, tiger."

I got my pencil and began writing my notes.

I saw Jesse next to me from my peripheral vision.

He never kept his eyes off me.
