At LASCO Academy, its reopening day and the Campus is Flooded with students.
"What are you doing there Ajere?" Dina, one of Eliza's friend who was heading into the school building with Salam(another friend) asked
"Don't call me that" Eliza said getting out of an almond tree
"woah are you denying your native name, Eliza?" Salam teased
"no I just don't wanna be called around with my mum's name now" Eliza said sighing
"issues at home?" Salam asked
"yeah" Eliza nodded
"sorry boo bear but what were you actually doing beneath that almond tree?" Dina demanded
"yeah what were you doing?" Salam reinforced, Eliza turned to both of them putting a hand each on their shoulders
"Abomo, Ajinyui it's a long story" Eliza said feeling avenged.
"ohh you want to 'back back njangi' right?" Dina laughed "News flash, we love our native names" Dina continued teasingly
"urhh l didn't say I hated......." Eliza started spluttering, exasperated.
"yeeeeey, welcome to uppersixth, The last year to university" Salam screamed, getting into the building
"yeeey welcome to uppersixth where we have to read, read and read for our Gce examinations" Dina said mockingly, they all laughed.

As the three girls walked up the school yard to the second cycle building they saw some students gasping about something
"what's happening......." Salam trailed her words as the view Infront of he surprised her, she turned to Eliza with a sad comforting face,
"What the Hell! now l know why BI had been so distant during the summer holidays!" Dina said, Eliza just stared at her boyfriend or now ex boyfriend  flirting and kissing her friend BI after ditching her beneath the almond tree
"woah and they are seriously smooching on each other" Dina said and Salam hit her, Eliza turned around and started leaving the scene
"Eliz " Salam called following Eliza while Dina just stared at them as though she would slaughter any moment now'
"man will you just lat this go easily?" Eliza mumbled to herself then turned back marching to the scene
"Eliza what are you doing?" Salam demanded as she followed her, In the next moment everyone heard the loud slap Eliza landed on BI
  "seriously?, the girl gets the hit?"
  "what about the guy that was your boyfriend?" the by lookers muttered
"How dare you? you crazy slut," Liza roared
"Eliza" salam shouted
"No let her do it" Dina muttered, Leo who was standing next to BI pushed Eliza away
"Don't you ever lay your hands on her again Eliza" Leo threatened
"Or what?" Eliza chuckled daring
"Eliza stop this, don't make a scene, let's go" Salam said
"Let's go" Leo said to BI and they walked away, Eliza stopped a tear from dropping then she moved away from Salam and Dina and walked out.
"God this is crazy" Salam said to Dina
"who knew BI could be such a whore" Dina said
"Hey come on it's BI we are talking about here , we need to talk to her " Salam said and they left the scene.
"what's happening here?" The discipline master who had just arrived the scene asked
"Senior BI and Ajere were fighting" a lower sixth student answered
"what?, First day of school? disperse now , go learn something" the discipline master said exasperated "wouldn't I die before my time" he muttered to himself.
