"Soooo... It's been a pretty long while since I've been a senior now. A lot has passed and I'm going to be in University soon, I've made a lot of great friends during my high school years and I didnt even realize that time went by quickly. It feels as though I was still 17 yesterday but y'know I've been pretty good so far... Mom."

"Well, I'm glad you're doing well over there and I'm proud of you for making it this far.. I know you've been through a lot as a kid and I wasn't there to help you through those times... N/n-chan... I know you've considered escaping reality as a last resort but I don't want to lose you, not again atleast. Anyways im happy for you but I have to go pretty soon so I need to end the call."

The call ended and Y/n shut her computer screen before stretching and started studying so she could pass her entrance exams, yes she is on break currently but she watched a lot of coming of age movies and now aspires her college life to be exactly like that.

*knock knock*

"Yes?"

The sound of the door could be heard opening and quiet footsteps walking in.

"N/n?"

"Hm?"

"I'm gonna miss you.."

"I'm not going yet."

"I know but I feel like if I let some of my thoughts out right now, I wont take your leave so hard."

Takemichi looked down quickly which made Y/n get curious before she made a guess in her head.

"Don't tell me you're crying right now."

"I can't bear to watch you goooo!!! Don't leave yet N/nnn!"

"How will I live if I can't attend college?"

"ILL GO FOR YOU! Just donw't lweave!!"

Y/n's face held a disgusted look but on the inside she can understand where Takemichi was coming from.

No matter the amount of times Y/n has made fun of someone, she never means it, especially to her cousin.

Takemichi was like her younger brother in her heart and she would always treat him that way, her heart aches about leaving but she's trying to live that coming of age show life.

"Don't.. Cry any longer.. Please?"

"Just for you! I won't cry until the day you have to leave."

Takemichi closed the door behind him before sitting on Y/n's life sized Garfield plush that doubled as a chair and watched her study, he knew that he'd endure that much work one day and that's why he's extra sad, but he also feels bad for Y/n especially since college was described as what people would think is prison if there was no context to the explanation.

"When are you gonna tell the others that you plan to go to University soon?"

"I don't know.."

"Not only that but you really plan on moving to a far away University from home?"
