Leah's POV

For some reason, I felt like I could trust Jess. Maybe it was the way she listened without judgment, or the way she made me feel safe. Whatever it was, I found myself telling her everything—about my parents, about the strange things that happened around me, about why I had to leave home. I'd never opened up like this before, but with Jess, it felt right.

Jess's POV

Hearing Leah's story, my eyes widened. Leah's a witch, I thought to myself, stunned. She didn't even know it yet, but I did. My brother and I come from the Nox wolf family, one of the oldest werewolf lines. Ethan's set to become the next alpha, and we know all about the different factions at Crescent Grove Academy. Each faction—wolves, witches, fae, and others—has its own focus, its own purpose here. And each pack has a shamen.

It made sense now, why Leah kept losing control of her powers. She'd never been taught how to handle them, never even knew what she was. I had to do something. Without Leah knowing, I decided to inform the school's faction adviser about her abilities the next day.

Leah didn't realize it yet, but she had a lot more to learn. And if she wasn't careful, she might not just be a target for other students—she could be a danger to herself too.

"Leah You're a witch" I said she looked at me as if I had two heads "Witches arnt real" she said and then looked like she almost regretted it "just think about it making things happen the door exploding in the hallway all this stuff it's the only explanation " I say to her trying to make it sound like I'm just assuming.

Leah's POV

"You're a witch" I heard Jess say but it couldn't be someone would of noticed surely I thought to myself "witches arnt real" I say almost regretting it not wanting to make my new friends hate me "Just think about it " I hear her say as she continues to talk I flash back to the different times weird stuff happened.. I shrug my shoulders and say "Well even if I am I wouldn't know where to start but for now I'm tired " I say as we both turn off our lamps and lay down for bed but her words run through my head "You're a witch".
