Chapter 4 (edited)

They arrived at Hogwarts when it was dark. The boys had changed into their uniform and Eve into her's while Tonto was curled up his the hood of her robes. [Image up top is Eve's outfit]

"Right then! First years! This way, please! Come on, now, don't be shy! Come on now, hurry up! Right then, this way to the boats! Come on, now, follow me." Once Hagrid lead them to the boats they all sat sat in one. There could only be four people per bost, so they all got in one together.

Once they got to the castle they were lead to a staircase where Professor Mcgonagall was waiting. "Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few moments, you will pass though these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Griffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Now while you're here, your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you points. Any rule breaking, and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup. The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." Mcgonagall then entered the great hall while the first years still waited.

"So Evelyn Potter and Harry Potter really have come to Hogwarts." Everyone looked over to see it was Ronald Weasley talking. "The names Ron, Ronald Weasley. You don't want to be making friends with serpents, I can help you there." Ron held out his hand.

"Mr. Weasley, I happened to like snakes." Tonto came out from Eve's hood and sang at Ron while kissing. "I am also fully capable to make my own friends, I am in no need of your assistance. Also, you have dirt on your nose. Right here, did you know?" She tapped the right side of her nose while scratching Tonto's head.

Just then Mcgonagall came back out. "We're ready for you now. Follow me." She then lead them all into the great hall. Eve was walking while Harry held tightly onto her hand to clam his nerves. As they were walking Eve leaned closer to Hermione. "Quick quiz. How does the ceiling look like that night sky?" Hermione lit up at the question. "It's bewitched. You can read about it in Hogwarts, A History." Eve patted her head. "Correct."

Mcgonagall then step up onto a platform but dropped the others. "All right, will you wait along here, please? Now, before we begin, Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words." Dumbledore then rose from his seat. "I have a few start-of-term notices I wish to announce. The first years, please note that the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all students. Also, our caretaker, Mr. Filch, has asked me to remind you that the tirds-floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a most painful death. Thank you." Dumbledore then sat down.

Eve narrowed her eyes at him. "So he thinks it okay to have something life threatening in the school. I'll send a letter to uncle Lucy." Eve thought as Mcgonagall spoke. "When I call your name, you will come forth. I shall place the sorting hat on your head, and you will be sorted into your houses. Hermione Granger."

Hermione went up and sat on the stool as Mcgonagall placed a hat on her head. "Ah, right then... Hmm... Right. Okay. Griffindor!" People cheered and Hermione went to dit at Griffindor table. "Draco Malfoy." Mcgonagall called. Draco went up and sat down." "Slytherin!" The hat said before it even touched Draco's head. Draco proudly went to sit st Slytherin table.

"Susan Bones." Mcgonagall called out next. While the hat was taking Eve looked over at Snape. Snape saw her looking and lightly nodded. Eve undersood and nodded back. "Let's see... I know! Hufflepuff!" Susan went and sat down. "Ronald Weasley."

Ron went up and sat on the stall. "Ha! Another Weasley. I know just what to do with you. Griffindor!" Ron gave a smug grin and went to sit a griffindor table. "Harry Potter." The room went silent as harry went and sat on the stool.
