Inside the Flowershop
(Tuesday, 02:41 PM)

The door chimed as Voshell and Echil entered the small, cozy flower shop, its walls lined with all manner of colorful blooms. The soft scent of roses and lavender immediately filled the air. Voshell’s eyes lit up as they took in the sight of all the plants, but Echil was less impressed, her hands in her pockets, scanning the space as though she were bored already.

"I still don't get why we came here," Echil muttered, her tone casual but curious. She glanced around, tapping the toe of her sneaker against the floor.

"Because," Voshell said, moving toward a particular section of the shop. "I wanted to check out some plants for my little garden at home. And besides, it smells nice in here." They paused by a display of small potted plants, studying them with interest.

Echil tilted her head and smirked. "You're really into this stuff, huh? You’ve got enough plants at home to start a forest."

Voshell just smiled. “You can never have too many. Plus, there’s always something new to learn.” They stopped in front of a plant near the window—a small flower with petals that appeared to be struggling to bloom. “Like this one. It’s not doing too well.”

As Voshell leaned closer to inspect the flower, the young man behind the counter noticed and approached. He had a warm, somewhat sheepish look on his face, obviously not used to talking about plants.

“Hey, uh, do you need help with anything?” he asked, scratching the back of his head nervously.

Voshell straightened up and shook their head. “Not really, just noticed this flower here is having a hard time. I think it's getting too much sun. You’ve got it right next to the window, but that species needs more water than light. Maybe moving it to a cooler spot and giving it a good drink would help.”

The shopkeeper blinked, taken aback by the advice. “Oh… really?” He glanced at the plant in question, then back at Voshell. “I didn’t know that. I’m just watching the place for my mom. I’m more of a uh... ‘stand here and look busy’ kind of guy.”

Voshell laughed softly. “That makes sense. Don’t worry about it. Just thought I’d mention it since I’ve been growing these types at home.”

The shopkeeper looked relieved and gave a grateful smile. “Thank you. I’ll move it. And I’ll remember the water tip too. My mom knows a lot more than me about this stuff, but I’ll let her know what you said.”

“There’s nothing to thank me for,” Voshell said, still smiling kindly. “Plants just need a little extra attention sometimes.”

Echil wandered over, rolling her eyes good-naturedly. “You sound like a plant doctor, Voshell. You seriously could do this full-time.”

“Maybe,” Voshell shrugged, but there was a spark of pride in their eyes. “I like helping things grow.”

With the flower advice given and no further interest in buying anything, Voshell and Echil left the shop. Echil stretched as soon as they stepped outside, grinning. “Alright, where to now? I could use a chill spot to hang out.”

Voshell thought for a moment, then smiled softly. “Let’s go to the park. It’s a good place to relax, and you might like the fresh air.”

Echil raised an eyebrow but nodded. “Fine by me. As long as we’re not going back to another plant shop.”

At the Park
(Tuesday, 02:58 PM)

After their visit to the flower shop, Voshell and Echil made their way to the park, following a quiet, winding path that was still bathed in the soft light of the afternoon sun. Echil, always the more restless of the two, kicked at small stones as they walked. Voshell, on the other hand, savored the peacefulness of the park, taking in the greenery and sounds of nature around them.
