ii. movie night

jack and harley sat at the countertop in ebony's kitchen, scrolling through his phone to find the write place to order food from.

ordering food was always the hardest part of movie night, though harley would eat anything, jack and ebony were very picky.

"ebbie! come here!" harley shouted across the apartment for her, almost falling off the stool she was sat on in the process, earning a laugh from jack.

ebony ran out of the living room, where she was trying to find a movie to watch, and into the kitchen, standing behind the two as she looked down at jacks phone.

"you decided yet?" she asked, her arm resting on harley's shoulder.

"we're thinking pizza?" jack suggested as he clicked onto the nearby pizzeria menu.

"i'm down." ebony said as harley nodded in agreement. "me too."

"so that's a cheese pizza, a spicy chicken one and a pepperoni one?" he asked, the two girls nodding.

"i can't believe you're so boring with cheese pizza all the time." harley mumbled as she rested her head on jacks shoulder.

"cheese pizza is a very mature choice thank you." he rolled his eyes before placing the order. "you decided what we're gonna watch?" he looked at ebony.

"not yet, we've pretty much watched the contents of netflix by now." she shrugged as she got three cans of pepsi out of the fridge.

"i'm sure there's something we could watch..." harley began before gasping and sitting up. "what about monsters? bonnie, you told your fans you were gonna watch it, it's on my watchlist and jack, well, you'll watch anything that's put in front of you."

"that is true." he agreed.

"okay then. we'll watch monsters." bonnie agreed before walking into the living room and setting down the cans on the table.

the other two following behind as harley flopped down on the sofa and jack perched on the edge of it, staring at the cat.

"gus won't do anything, he's harmless." bonnie laughed as she flicked through netflix to find the show.

it was already dark outside, and it was so cozy in her living room. the curtains were drawn slightly, it was blankets and pillows galore, and the fairy lights on the hearth were on, as well as the of couple table lamps by the sofa.

"i don't care if you think he's harmless... he's looking at me funny!" he muttered, before harley picked him up and moved closer towards jack.

"harley i swear to god-" he backed away, putting his hands up in defense, harley and bonnie just laughing.

"relax, i'm not gonna do anything." she laughed as she stood up and walked out of the room, gus comfortably in her arms as she walked into bonnie's room and put him on her bed, where he immediately settled down.

"harls we're starting!!" bonnie shouted down the corridor.

"i'm coming!" she shouted in return before closing the bedroom door and running into the living room, jumping on the sofa just as they pressed play.
