When I reached my family house, I could see my dad and mother waiting at the open door.
Their arms crossed, and their gaze angry.
I gulped.
Bradley was still by my side, but when he spotted my folks as well, he gave a quick trembling wave goodbye as he left me quickly, calling at me before he was gone.
"See you tomorrow, Riley!"
"Heh heh," I chuckled nervously, half waving back at him before I reached Mum and Dad, "I hope..." Is all I whispered.

"Mum and Dad look mad," Sadness said worried as an orange and blue memory ball began to slide into the other balls on the mind shelves.

"Mum, Dad!" I said to them then, smiling afraid their way and they both shook their heads sternly before my mum stepped towards me to let me into the house, and I walked nervously past her and dad.
"Riley, this is not like you," She said to me, sounding concerned yet also upset. I remained giving my awkward smile as I began to climb the stairs to my room, hearing Mum call up to me quickly, "Riley!?"

Anxiety was pressing button after button on the panel, trying to find a way to solve this problem, but Sadness only just touched the panel and-

I felt tears well in my eyes as I went to my room and slammed the door closed hard.
I dropped onto my bed, looking up at the ceiling above and only going over in my head all the events that had happened this day.

Image after image came onto Riley's mind's screen as the emotions looked over the good and the bad.
Only one emotion was remaining quiet, and he was the one that still somehow had the biggest effect on Riley.
"Love?!" Joy finally yelled at him, as the tinted pink eye view seemed to be shaking now as if Riley had doubts, "DO SOMETHING!"
"Sometimes," Love only said back to her, "Doing nothing is what needs to be... so she can think and reflect."
"HOMEWORK, EVERYONE!" Fear then shouted, getting so high-strung and upset, and Riley finally sat up on her bed, rubbing her nose with the side of her hand as it had gotten stuffy from the near tears from before.

Suddenly, there was a knock on my door. I just picked up my pillow and rammed it into my face as I wept in silence, holding back my tearful screams.
"Riley..?"
It was mum. I knew it would be mum.
"Wha-?" I muffled before sitting up on my bed when I heard her come in and sit down right beside me.
"Is everything alright, dear?"
NO! I thought to myself in anger, as the events ran through my head. How I was a fool for going to the park and not getting my homework done yet? A fool to hang around those two girls. The two girls who were trying to steal Bradley from me before I even had him?!
"No..." I only uttered back to her and she touched my pale hand, squeezing it softly as she asked.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
I gazed at her silently, not knowing what to say.

"Don't say a thing!" Disgust declared, all the other emotions looking at her confused, "If we do, she'll RUIN it all!"
