Max sat at the head of the long dining table in his lavish villa, calmly eating breakfast when one of his men entered, looking tense. The man approached cautiously and said, "Boss, they killed both of the shooters we hired."

Max's lips curled into a smile. His man blinked in confusion. "Boss, you're smiling? They killed our men."

Without looking up from his plate, Max replied casually, "If they didn't kill them, I would have."

The man's confusion deepened. "But, Boss, why? You sent them to do the job."

Max leaned back in his chair, wiping his mouth with a napkin before responding. "Of course, I sent them. But they shot at the car Amaya was in." He paused, his expression darkening. "And for that, they had to pay."

The man stared at him, stunned. He knew Max was ruthless, but this reasoning was twisted even for him. "You're saying you'd kill them... because they shot at her car?"

Max gave him a cold look. "Exactly."

Without further explanation, Max resumed eating, his demeanor calm and unbothered. The man, realizing there was nothing more to say, nodded and quickly left the room.

Outside, he met another one of Max's men, who was waiting near the entrance. The man looked at him expectantly, and with a shake of his head, he muttered, "He's a psycho, man. An absolute psycho."

Both men exchanged uneasy glances, knowing full well how unpredictable their boss could be.

Amaya and Veeranshu were still seated at the dining table, enjoying their relaxed conversation when Sameer walked back in with a hint of urgency. "Bhai, we have to go to the Paradise. There's something urgent."

Veeranshu frowned slightly, not wanting to leave. "Can't it be postponed?"

Sameer shook his head. "You've been postponing it for days now, Bhai. I think you should go and check it out."

Sighing, Veeranshu nodded and turned towards Amaya. Before he could say anything, Amaya reassured him with a soft smile. "I'm fine, please go and take care of your work."

Veeranshu gazed at her, his expression softening. "Okay, jaan," he replied, then looked at Sameer. "You go get the car. I'll be there in five minutes."

Sameer nodded and left to prepare the car. As soon as he was out of sight, Veeranshu scooted his chair closer to Amaya, pulling her near. He looked into her eyes and said, "Jaan, I'm sorry. I would never leave you alone here if it wasn't urgent. But I promise, I'll come back as soon as I can."

Amaya's hand brushed lightly against his arm as she reassured him, "It's fine, Veer. You have work to do, and I'll be here when you get back."

Veeranshu cupped her face gently, leaning in for a strong, lingering kiss. When he pulled back, he smiled. "I love you, jaan."

Amaya's smile widened, but she remained silent. He raised an eyebrow, noticing her teasing silence. "You still haven't said 'I love you' to me, have you?"

Amaya playfully rolled her eyes, pretending to ignore him as she glanced up at the ceiling.

"Look at me," Veeranshu said softly, but firmly.

Amaya giggled and pushed at his chest lightly. "Just go, you're getting late."

From outside, Sameer's voice echoed through the house. "Bhai, come on! We're getting late!"
