03 | "oh"

"Jake? Love?"

Jake's mother called out softly, knocking on the door. Jake immediately woke up at the noise. He recognised the voice and called her to come inside.

"Yea? Anything wrong?" Jake said and his mother replied with shaking her head. "I mean...yes if you think about it. But i want you to be calm throughout this conversation". She continued, "please".

Jake got a bit tensed, he realised the conversation might be about the thing he eavesdropped to last night.

"So, there's a man. You do know Mr.Lee, right?" Jake nodded, "Yeah so Mr.Lee has taken quite an interest in you."

"Oh"

He thought.

"And he wants you to.... basically marry his son".
His mom let out all in one go and Jake blinked multiple times. "HUH-"

"MOM WHY ME!?"

There it is,

Jake's tantrums.

"Woah woah woah", She spoke while her hands were infront of Jake trying to calm him down. "I told you to be calm" Her voice then continued, "And one more thing".

Jake frowned in response but didn't spoke anything. And let his face speak it all.

"THE MARRIGE IS IN A WEEK"

Jake's mom said this and closed the door of his room only to sprint out. Now, Jake froze. His eyes grew wide and he thought about what a typical couple would do in their first night together.

"Ew what the fuck"

"Wait no what if he's hot"

"OR A GREEK GOD!?"

"NO WAY"

Jake was scared but he was also excited. Yes you could say he is shameless.

Jake threw himself on the bed yet again but the alarm went off. The realisation hit Jake and he got ready for college. Well...not ready, but he looked atleast presentable.

Going downstairs he grabbed the bread off of the table and tried to push off the fact from his brain that his hair were not even brushed properly. Although they looked okay-ish, they weren't perfect.

Jake got on the first bus from the bus stop and he reached his college pretty fast.

The college hours flew on pretty fast and Jake, Sunoo and Jungwon gossiped about the whole marrige shit.
