"Ugh... why does it have to be so damn bright?!" 

I got up from bed and started getting ready for a new day of work at Pin's new bakery. She gave me the job, since I needed one and she needed help, so it solves both of our problems! 

"Bye Firey!"

"Bye Leafy!"

That's nice. He doesn't normally say it back. That's how I know this should be a good day!

I head down the street and start making my way to pin's bakery. You can't miss it, it's the only pastel colored building in Goiky! It's her way of getting customers and money, It really work well of course! The last few days haven't been that great, but I'm sure it'll be good today.

Ding!

"Hey Leafy! Glad you could make it. Coiny's here today, so you don't need to work two jobs."

"Really? That's great! Coiny's actually doing something for once-"

"Heh. Yeah, I guess so. We open at 8:30 today, so you'll have to wait a few minutes."

"That's fine with me!"

I walk into the kitchen to go greet Coiny, of course.

It's not just me, right? But it's like every day is the same, I go to my bakery with Coiny (most of the time), Leafy comes early, then we open and get all of those customers. Like it's controlled and keeps going, and going, and going, until the day we die. We who live in Goiky can live a pretty long time, too, for some reason...

.....Leafy just lives with Firey, right? She doesn't live with her siblings anymore, I think. That's something I should ask her- right? She doesn't have any bad memories with them, or at least not too bad.

"LEAFY WAIT UP!-"

"Huh? I was just gonna go say hi to Coiny-"

"Yeah, but I have a question for you."

She turns around

"What would you possibly need to ask me?"

"Who do you currently live with? Is it your siblings or-"

Leafy stopped in her tracks as Pin mentioned them

"Uh... I- just live with Firey now, that's all...."

"...Is there something wrong? I-if you didn't like that I mentioned them I'm sorry,-"

"It's just.. I haven't seen them for a while, Grassy was taken by Basketball, or Grassy chose to, and also because Tree and I couldn't take care of him, and after a while..."

She paused and stared Pin dead in the eyes and smiled slightly

"Tree left me with zero warning. And I never knew until three days later. Why? I don't even know. No notes, no reason, no nothing."

I stared at Leafy with slight concern, and confusion. She never had mentioned this to me before, I was just in pure shock, until I heard the door open.

Ding!

"Uh... Who is it?"

I asked, slightly still in shock still from what Leafy told me.

"Uh... Is Leafy here? It's just me, Basketball- Grassy wanted to say hi, after all, he hasn't seen her in years."

"Years?!"

"Years."

I turned back to Leafy waiting for a nod or not, and... well, she nodded, confirming she hadn't seen Grassy for years... Which would go the same for Tree, and wherever he was in Goiky, or even if he was still in Goiky at all.

Clang!

"OW-"

I heard Coiny scream in udder pain, from the kitchen of course.

"What was that this time, Coiny?!"

"A POT FVCKING HIT MY ARM AND IT FEELS BROKEN!!!!! :("

"Ugh... It's probably not, that's happened to you so many times, and you've never actually got badly hurt anyways!"

I turn back to where Basketball was standing, with Grassy behind her.

"Yeah, Leafy's here, right that way."
