37 Kids, 1 Big playground, 2 kids. One with dark green hair, one with Y/HC. In this Big playground among in 37 kids how did they found eachother in such a big crowd?

Small taps on green haired kids shoulder made him attract his attention the small girl behind him. She was wearing a sage green dress with a bow around her waist. She seemed younger than him but pretty sure they were at the same age.

"Why are you alone?" He must have heard her voice wrong? Was the angels speaking to him? A soft smooth voice, better than beeping sounds on his small red hand carrying game console.

"Not interested in running around with others." He simply answered, automatically moving a little bit to the side for the girls to sit with him. She hopped down to the sand pool, carefully sitting next to him. He was wearing a really baggy comfy pants with a weird pixilated creature on his black shirt.

"Isn't that Ajaw on your shirt? From the X game?" She pointed his T-shirt leaving his eyes widen. Now he was interested in talking with someone. "You know him??" He excitedly looked at her eyes, both are glowing with excitement. A excitement of meeting with someone new..

"I played that! Seems like you're interested in games too!" She eyed the small gaming console on his hands that were clutching on it tightly. A small silence before he talked.

"Wanna play? I love bringing this red thing to everywhere, I can teach you more games on it!" I raised his hands towards to her. She nodded excited moving closer to his side, watching as he was showing the buttons.

"Whats you're name?" She asks. His green, black and yellow square bandana covering his Big eyes a little, he smiled.

"Kinich."

"How long do you plan on sleeping, Y/N?" Lumine's soft voice broke through the haze of her lunch nap as she gently tapped Y/N’s shoulder. Y/N stretched her arms overhead, blinking against the fluorescent classroom lights before turning to her friend. The noise of shuffling feet and whispered conversations buzzed around her like an unwanted distraction. "Lunch break is finished?" she murmured, glancing around at the students slowly filing back into the classroom. A wave of concern washed over Lumine as she noticed Y/N hadn’t eaten since the morning. "You haven't eaten yet, Y/N. Is everything alright?"

Y/N nodded simply, her heart heavy as she searched the room for someone. When she finally spotted Kinich, his familiar green hair peeking out from beneath his signature bandana, a bittersweet ache filled her chest. Just then, a bright, excited voice called out to him. “Kinich~!” It was Mualani, their mutual friend, who had grown close to him since high school. Seeing them together felt like a punch to the gut; their laughter echoed like a cruel reminder of what she had lost.

Y/N turned her head toward the window, her thoughts racing. "Wasn’t it just yesterday that Kinich and I were the best of friends?" She swallowed hard, trying to quell the tears threatening to spill over. Lumine noticed her friend’s struggle and whispered, "Don't you want to talk with him, Y/N?"

"I don't know, Lumine… Do friends grow apart after some time?" Y/N's voice trembled slightly as she fought back tears, knowing deep down that they had. She clutched the silver bracelet Kinich had given her years ago, a talisman of their childhood that now felt like a painful reminder.

Lumine didn’t respond; both of them understood the answer all too well.
