Cyn had effectively trapped you in the room with her and a still-offline N, blocking the doorway with her body as she rested against it with crossed arms. "When did you get smart? [Inquisitive glare]"

"What did you do?"

"I will answer your questions when you answer mine." Cyn hums in a robotic lilt.

"What's under the helmet? Is it just you?"

That question, she does answer. Not by removing the helmet, but by instead shaking her head. "No. You don't want to see."

She killed billions of people but couldn't even show you her face. You wonder if that's meant to be a mockery of guilt. Shame.

You doubt it, based on the fact she was pretending to be Tessa.

A mockery of the person you knew. The person you grew up with. You're mad. You're mad you didn't see it sooner than this. Sooner than being locked in a room with her.

You figure she must've changed her own body the same as the other drones. She was too tall to be the drone you remembered. You didn't want to ponder what was beyond the suit. It disgusts you to think of it.

"You're angry. With me. Good. [light giggle] Stew in it. I took care of your problem, and you will take care of mine." Cyn drums her hands against the knees of the space-suit as you stare at her.

"My problem?"

"Carter." She answers simply,straight-laced. Flat. bored. "Your problem. I took care of it. For you. You should be thankful." you hate to think this is her version of camaraderie. "I did it Personally. Be Thankful." The robot drawls with crossed arms.

You changed the topic, taking Cyn momentarily off-guard. Not for long.

"You gave me A chance to say goodbye to her." you breathed out, crossing your arms across your chest, unconsciously mimicking her as you stepped closer to N's unconscious body. "Thank you for that."

"It's not for you.." Cyn took a few steps backward, gait awkward and limp as her ankle rolled sideways before righting as she took another step across the doorway. "It isn't for you."

"I know. I figure. Thank you anyway." After you spoke, Cyn was silent for too long to be normal for her. She remained by the door

"Thank me for your father."

"You exterminated my species." You'd decided to turn your head. Focus on the unconscious drone. The helmet was making you sick to look at now.

"I'm starved. I was Starved. I'm starving.[Pout.]" Cyn's voice mutters.

"Like the beast with a thousand eyes?" you question weakly, staring down at the drone's body while you reach out to tap and press at the dim light on the back of N's hand. You don't want him to come online during this. Cyn might kill him. Cyn would definitely kill him.

"You remember." Cyn coos as she came around to your side, setting her head and the helmet down on your shoulder "[giggle.] Then you remember what we said?"

You don't want to. So you don't answer her as she walks around to the other-side of the Gurney, holding her hand up limply as she stares down at N's unconscious body.

"Do your sins haunt you?" you can't help but ask. Does she have any sense of guilt for what she's done? What she's doing.

"No." Cyn answers, tapping her finger against N's visor. "I am starved. I am angry. I am only angry. I am just Anger." she cocks her head back unnaturally to stare at you "you know what that is." she spoke in a raised lilt, something like amusement. You don't like it.
