The group had just left Makima's office, making their way down the hallway. Power was up ahead, walking with an exaggerated swagger, while Aki kept pace next to you, your intimidatingly big black dog (BBD 😂) trotting beside you. Denji trailed behind, her mind somewhere else.
Denji's eyes kept drifting toward you and, more specifically, to thabs. She couldn't help it; the thought was already swirling in her head. And with Denji being Denji, she blurted it out.
Denji: "Can I please touch your abs?"
You stopped dead in your tracks, blinking in surprise at the unexpected question.
Y/n: "Who said I have abs?"

Aki stopped too, turning sharply to look at Denji with an expression that screamed, Are you serious?
Denji: "I mean, you're really fit, and... well, I just wanna see what they feel like, you know?"
Power, overhearing the conversation, burst into laughter, her usual chaotic energy taking over as she doubled over in amusement.
Power: "Touch their abs? You humans are always thinking of the weirdest things! There's no honor in touching abs!" She struck a grandiose pose. "If you want to touch something impressive, it should be ME! I am the greatest!"
Denji, brushing off Power's antics, kept her eyes on you, her face pleading.
Denji: "Come on, I've been through a lot already! I think I've earned this, right?"
You sighed in disbelief, shaking your head. Your dog, sitting beside you, wagged its tail happily, seemingly oblivious to the strange tension in the air.
Y/n: "I'm not even sure what to say to that."
Aki, already fed up, let out an exasperated sigh.
Aki: "Denji, we're not here to mess around. Focus on the mission, not Y/n's abs."
Y/n: "You stay with them, Hunter." you said to the dog, who obediently stayed near Denji and Power.
