The Realisation

Juliet sat there for a moment, before she realized something, her and Milly were friends. Juliet felt something light up inside of her, it was like a lantern of hope. She wanted to capture that hope and have the lantern light up her life. Juliet was always just seen as a burden, so she never had a friend. Juliet then suggested that they should listen to some music. "Hey, I've never heard human music, so can we play some?" Juliet said in a happy voice. "Oh yeah sure! I think you would like cavetown!" Milly said as she turned on her Hello Kitty CD player. Milly played the Lemon Boy album first and was super excited for Juliet to hear some human music for the first time! Milly put on the CD and started playing the song list. Juliet listened to the first song and thought something, maybe I'm lemon boy and Milly is the other boy who was friends with lemon boy....? Juliet thought about the fact on how Milly started to get along with her despite her having a bitter personality. Juliet still danced with Milly and listened to the rest of the soundtrack while they talked about a ton of different things and topics. The two girls then went to bed and watched Adam Sandler movies together. Juliet woke up and went to get some breakfast, she got eggs and toast. She also went ahead and made Milly some coffee so Milly wouldn't go absolutely insane that morning. "Good morning weirdo~" Juliet said in a teasing manner. Milly looked at her with her soulless brown eyes,she had eyebags and she just looked like she was about to fight someone. She then grabbed the coffee and had an immediate mood change. She was happy and in a great mood, she was running to get dressed and told Juliet that they were going to do something fun that morning! Milly got dressed into a cute pair of flared jeans and a cottagecore top. Milly had her bag and she was ready to go out. Juliet put on one of Mlliy's hoodies and ran after Milly as she was running outside. Now Milly lived in a little town, so everyone knew everybody and every place in the town was a walking distance. Milly walked into a hot topic. Juliet looked at all the cool outfits and accessories. She grabbed a somewhat emo outfit and some accessories. The outfit consisted mostly of a black dress with floral lace on the collar and her moon necklace to add to the outfit. She then had striped tights and some black Mary Jane shoes. Milly completed Juliet's outfit and Juliet felt something flutter inside her. She told Milly thanks in a sweet manner and gave Milly a hug. Juliet and Milly soon left to go to Giovanni's with Theodore and Sebastian. The Giovanni's had some sort of karaoke stage, so the group practically had to sing some songs. Theodore and Sebastian were practically acting like a married couple, they were bickering, but you could tell that they still loved each other (it's not gay, they had socks on). Juliet got to the table and said within seconds "Just kiss already yall". Sebastian looked at her and he was blushing, but he also looked like he was about to murder Juliet. "ALRIGHT LET'S JUST SING SOME KARAOKE GUYS....!" Theodore said to try and break the awkward silence that was brought by the comment. The group got up and sang some cringey songs together. Juliet told Sebastian that they should sing Welcome to the Black Parade. "Emoooo" Theodore said while cackling. "Shut up you.....you......um-" Sebastian said "oooooo, you can't insult me emo boy" Theodore said in a teasing voice. "You know you love me, platonically of course though....!" Sebastian said. Sebastian and Juliet finished the song and then told Theodore and Milly that they needed to sing a song. "AVRIL LAVEIGN????" Juliet said as Milly and Theodore were singing Girlfriend . Milly and Theodore finished the song and went to eat some pizza with Sebastian and Juliet. They all joked around, but Juliet thought something.......maybe I actually do belong here. She grasped onto that thought and if only made the lantern of hope inside of her brighter. Sebastian and Theodore left to go to Sebastian's house. Milly and Juliet kinda just sat there with the awkward silence that was brought, "Hey! We should go to the park!" Milly said in her usual happy, enthusiastic voice. "Sure!!!" Juliet said in a supper excited voice. Juliet started showing herself, she didn't have to hide behind the rude mask she had worn her whole life......but what if she ends up loving someone......to just end up losing them. She brushed aside the thoughts of losing someone she loved and ran back to the park with Milly. Juliet and Milly walked around the park looking at the brown, orange, and yellow leaves on the ground, but then Juliet realized something; her and Milly were holding hands. Juliet felt warm despite the cold weather, and just enjoyed the moment for the time being. A couple of minutes went by with the awkward silence that was brought by that thing.....but soon the two decided it was best to head home. The girls walked for what felt like an eternity in the small town they lived in. Juliet had walked upstairs and Milly had been told to stay downstairs by her mother. "You two are getting too close" Milly's mother said in a chilling tone. Milly thought to herself, I disappointed her. "Mother, I swear we aren't like tha-" "NO! YOU ARE GOING TO END UP LIKE YOUR DISAPPOINTMENT OF A BROTHER! YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MY GOLDEN CHILD, IF YOU END UP DATING HER I WILL END YOU, YOU DISAPPOINTMENT!" Milly's mother told her. Milly wanted to go......forever. She went upstairs and plastered on a fake smile trying to hide the fact that she was miserable. Her and Juliet went to bed, but Milly couldn't hardly sleep at all. She laid there, knowing that she was a disappointment. That night Milly did something, she just went outside and walked to Walmart. She walked down the aisles while she just thought of the fact that she had disappointed her mom. Milly had remembered a line from a song that talked about how she saw things that nobody else saw in her family. Overall, Milly had just bought some melatonin. Milly read the serving size and saw something don't take in large portions or serious medical issues can be caused including death. Milly had an idea, but it definitely wasn't good. She walked home and went upstairs, but Juliet was standing there looking worried. " Milly...?" Juliet said while she ran up to Milly. Milly checked her phone, "Jul,it's like 2 am" Milly said looking confused to say the least. " I'm just wondering where you were. I woke up and you were just gone....." Juliet said in a calm voice. Milly thought to herself.......she would care if I disappeared. Milly burst out crying, but would never say why she cried that night and that fact was left with Juliet for the rest of her life. Milly got rid of the melatonin and made a plan to just be friends with Juliet.
