Alex and Billy drove into Westview, determined to find Agatha Harkness.

As they parked in front of the ruins of Wanda Maximoff's old home, Alex glanced up at Agatha's house next door.

"So, that's it," Alex said, her voice steady.

"Looks like it," Billy replied, scanning the surroundings.

"Let's go," Alex declared, swinging the car door open.

Before she could step out, Billy pulled her back. "Wait."

He unchained his Book of Shadows from his belt. "If she's under a spell, we need to release her."

"Okay?" Alex raised an eyebrow, unsure.

He flipped to a page in the book. "Release spell. It requires an important personal item."

Alex pondered for a moment. "Her brooch."

Just then, Billy's phone buzzed. He pulled it out, a smile spreading across his face.

"Eddie?" Alex asked, intrigued.

"Yeah," Billy confirmed, beaming.

"What'd he say?"

"'You're my heart,'" Billy replied, showing her the message.

"Aww," Alex cooed.

"Oh, and congrats on getting engaged, by the way," Billy added nonchalantly.

"Wait, I never—"

Billy tapped his head, grinning. "Mind reader, remember?"

Alex chuckled, shaking her head. "Right. Yeah."

"Anyway, do you know where her brooch is?" Billy asked, returning to the task at hand.

"I bet I can find it," Alex stated confidently.

"How?"

"Astral projector, remember?" She joked.

"Right."

Closing her eyes, Alex focused on her powers, trying to locate the brooch. But nothing came to her.

"Anything?" Billy asked, breaking the silence.

"If you'd be quiet, I could try to concentrate. It's not like flipping a light switch; it either happens or it doesn't," Alex retorted, frustration creeping into her voice.

Billy sighed. "Sorry."

She attempted to peer into Agatha's house, but her powers felt distant, unresponsive.

Opening her eyes, she sighed. "Nothing."

"Guess we'll have to do it the old-fashioned way," Billy smirked, stepping out of the car.

"Billy!" Alex shouted, hurrying to follow him.

He pulled the bandana up over his face, hiding his identity.

Peering through the front window, Alex spotted Agatha engaged in conversation with someone.

Billy began scaling the side of the house.

"Billy!" she whispered urgently, following him up.

They climbed in through a window that led to a dark closet.

As they stumbled in the darkness, Alex felt around, searching for the brooch.

"I found it!" she exclaimed, yanking open a drawer and revealing a plastic bag containing Agatha's emblem. "It's not a brooch, though; it's a necklace."
