Katherine's POV
I wake up to the sunshine filling up my empty room. I quickly realize that today is the day that we finally move to California. I was glad that it was summer and that I was getting away from this awful place. I have lived here my whole life and nothing has happened to me but getting bullied. The reason why is because I'm different from everyone else.
"KATHERINE!!!" I hear my mom shout from downstairs.
"Yea mom!" I shout back smiling.
"Sweetheart we need to leave now to get there on time ok?" She asks me.
"Ok mom I am coming" I say as I quickly gather up my pastel colored pennyboard and my carryon bag. I race downstairs to the car and we take off.
We finally get to the airport and I start to tear up while I say goodbye to my best friends Kari and Jz.(Jz is a girl btw)
"I will literally miss you guys so much!" I say to them while sobbing.
"Don't worry we will come and visit you in the future and go shopping for parties and what not ok?" They say to me also crying.
I cry as we walk to the terminal and enter the plane.As soon as we find our seats I sit down and get comfortable. Once the plane starts up I fall asleep quite quickly.
*5 hours later*
I awake to see my mom shaking me awake.
"Honey we are in LA ok get your stuff so we can go." She tells me as I get up and stretch.
"Ok!" I exclaim.
We reach the baggage claim area and I almost immediately find my bag. I go to walk towards it but bump into a boy.
"Oh my gosh I am so sorry are you ok?" I ask him.
"Oh yes I am fine are you?" He said to me.
"Yea I'm fine I wasn't looking where I was going and yea," I told him kindly as I grabbed my suitcase.
"So my name is Trevor, Trevor Moran." He says to me as I get situated.
"Oh nice to meet you Trevor I'm Katherine, Katherine Petrova." I tell him as I start to turn around to get back to my mother.
"Wait! Can I maybe get your number?" He says nervously.
"Oh yea sure." I tell him as we exchange phones. After that encounter with Trevor I slowly walk back to my mom. He was so cute maybe I will get to see him some other time. I loved his beautiful blue eyes I could stare into them all day. Wait what am I thinking? You just met him you can't be falling for him already? Or can I?
