Life Sucks?

  Katherine's POV

I got home after the beach and once I opened the door I soon regretted it. I was putting my keys up when I saw a little red river. I followed it until I realized where it was coming from...My Mother!

I instantly started crying I ran over to her and found a not beside her.

    Honey my life hasn't been to good lately. The only thing good in it was you. I am crying right now because I know what is going to happen to me. When you read this I will be dead because your father set up a group of people to kill me. That is also one of the main reasons we moved to California they found me and asked me where you were I told them that you had died in a car wreck on the way here. They thankfully believed me now I want you to call the police and tell them what happened and tell them your father did this. Be safe. Goodb

   The note ended with goodbye but she didn't finish the word because she died too soon. I sat there crying until I got the urge to call the police and tell them exactly what happened. I kept crying all night and ended up crying myself to sleep. The next morning I woke up and decided to text Trevor so I turned my phone on to see he had texted me last night but I didn't answer cause of what happened.

From Trevor: Hey Katherine :)

From Trevor: Katherine? I hope you're okay. :(

From Trevor: Hey Katherine wondering if you wanted to go to lunch?

As soon as I read the last one I looked to see what time it was the clock read 10:56 and I decided to text back,

To Trevor: Yea sure time? Where?

And sent. I waited until I heard a ding from my phone. I looked down to see the text.

From Trevor: uh can I pick you up around 11:45? And where is a surprise.

To Trevor: ok yea sure that would be great ;).

From Trevor: See you then :*

As I looked at the last text he sent and I saw the kissy face my heart exploded and I was smiling uncontrollably.

Trevor's POV

I was so nervous as I sent that last text but I also felt good that she said yes. I got ready by just putting on some ripped jeans and a good shirt. I went downstairs to see the guys all sitting on the couch listening to the news. Why can't they ever have anything good on. I went and sat down next to Kian and Connor. I watched the news with them.
Last night a girls mom was murdered. The names are Kelsi Petrova Grace and Katherine Petrova Grace. Luckily the daughter survived and we have found and arrested the murderer.

I was done watching by then. No wonder she wasn't responding last night her mom was dead. I then felt so bad and instantly regretted asking her to lunch.

"Hey Trev what's up with the outfit?" Ricky asked me.

"Oh I am going to lunch with Katherine." I said back to him and turned the t.v. channel to something else.

"Awe Trev's got a date!" Kian said to me. I then got up and rolled my eyes. I walked up to my room only to hear footsteps coming up after me. Ugh I just wanted one time where they wouldn't make fun of me. Kian entered my room and closed the door after himself.

"So I heard you last night on the beach when we were talking and you had said 'not yet anyways'. You really like her don't you?" He said to me.

"Yea I do but I don't know if she likes me back like that." I told him honestly.

"I am sure she does you're adorable." He said as he squeezed my cheeks.

"Wow thanks Kian you can stop now." I said back to him and he got up and left me I checked to see what time it was and decided to head over. Wait, I don't have her address. So I texted her and got it then left having Kian take me to her and have him take us to the restaurant we were going to.
