Back at home, Y/N sat by her window, watching the dim glow of the streetlights. The sounds of the festival had quieted down, but her mind was still racing. Jimin's sudden appearance had rattled her more than she wanted to admit. He had recognized her, but thankfully, she had been able to slip away before things got out of hand.

Aarya: "You okay, Y/N?"

Y/N hadn't even noticed Aarya enter her room. She looked up and forced a smile.

Y/N: "Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking."

Aarya raised an eyebrow. "Thinking or worrying?" she asked, knowing her friend all too well.

Y/N sighed, leaning back against her bed. "Both, maybe. I ran into someone today. Someone from New York."

Aarya's expression shifted, concern creeping in. "Someone dangerous?"

Y/N shook her head. "No, not dangerous. Just... complicated." She explained the brief encounter with Jimin, leaving out the details of their past meeting in New York.

Aarya: "Do you think he'll be a problem?"

Y/N thought about it for a moment before answering. "I don't know yet. He's curious, and that's enough to worry me. But I don't think he knows anything for sure."

Aarya nodded, trusting Y/N's instincts but still a bit on edge. "Well, if he becomes a problem, we'll handle it. Like we always do."

Y/N smiled gratefully. She couldn't shake the feeling that this wouldn't be the last time their paths crossed.

Jimin sat in his hotel room, replaying the day's events over and over in his mind.

Jimin (thinking): "Who are you, really? And why do I feel like we're not done yet?"

The Next Morning

Today was supposed to be a day for family and catching up, and she wasn't going to let anything ruin that.

But as she got dressed, her phone buzzed with a message. It was from Isha, one of her closest friends and the tech genius of their group.

Isha's Text: "Hey, heads up. Something's weird. I was monitoring a few things, and I noticed someone's been looking into you. Be careful."

Y/N's heart skipped a beat. Could it be him? Was he already starting to dig into her past?

She quickly replied: "Thanks, Isha. Keep me posted if you find anything else."

Jimin couldn't resist looking into the girl who had vanished from his life in New York. He had asked one of his close associates to do some digging, but so far, nothing concrete had come up. All he knew was that her name was Y/N Mehta, and she came from a prominent family in India.

Jimin's Associate: "Boss, there's something strange. She seems like a normal girl on the surface, but some things just don't add up. There are gaps in her record—missing pieces of information."

Jimin leaned back in his chair, intrigued. "Keep digging," he said, his voice calm but determined. "I want to know everything."

He hung up the phone, his mind racing with possibilities. Y/N was more than just some girl he had randomly met.

 At Aarya's Home –

Aarya had called her friends over to her house for a casual get-together, but things were far from casual. Her mother had been fussing over her all morning, trying to get her to dress up and look "presentable."
