"See ya later, Tom." I muttered.  "Yeah good luck, Don, with your dad, that is." shouted Tom from where he stood. As I walked  inside of my dad's house, I didn't here the TV playing. Instead, I heard a hissing sound and a faint sucking noise, so I ran up the steps. When I was inside the room my dad usually sits, he was laying there, not moving.... lifeless, cold.... dead...? Yes, dead, surely one could not be alive in that state.

I had mixed feelings, sad, but also happy because with him dead, I didn't have to do work for him. Although, on the other hand, I might end up in an orphanage. I picked up the phone and called the hospital, awaiting what was to come. They came took me and my father away in the ambulance.

During the ride, I saw that my dad had two little dots on the side of his neck. "That's wired...." I murmured under my breath.  "What's the matter?" asked the paramedic.

"He has two dots on the side of his neck." I said "I'll make sure the docotors check it." said the paramedic as we pulled into the hospital . "You'll have to wait out here" says the doctor  "Alright." is all I say. "You do not look as sad as a child should when their father is harmed." said the doctor  "What, do you want me to cry?" I say "No, no, I was just... wondering." He began backing away. I wanted him to leave. Just then, another Doctor came out and said to me "Your father is dead, we  don't know how but we do know that he has no blood left in him. We believe it might have been a vampire."

"Thank you, sir." I mutter. Then the doctor leaves, saying nothing, doing nothing more, just leaving me. Alone.
