Chapter #1 (Where Were You?)

It's 8:30 pm, as the Red Team finished cleaning themselves, Akko looks at the mysterious figure as she tries to make sense of it.

Akko: Did you think Constanze made this just to prank us?

Lotte: I highly doubt it. Even if she is pressured by Amanda, she wouldn't do such thing to us.

Sucy: Try touching it, you might make it work.. or mess it up entirely like you always do...

Akko: (Offended) Hey!

Lotte: Settle down, you two.

Akko: (Pouting) Hmph! Please, it's not like it'll be broken by a mere touch-

As Akko touches the speaker, it suddenly turns on as it shakes for a bit.

Sucy: Told you so...

Akko: You're not helping!

Lotte: (Worried) Is it going to explode?!

The box let's out a hologram screen with a long list of titles.

Akko: (Amazed) Woah!

Lotte: (Amazed) Incredible...

Sucy: It looks like a list... and it wants us to pick a title...

Akko: Hmm... hey! How about this one? It's called Where Were You.

Lotte: You think it's a song name?

Sucy: It came from a speaker, you know...

Lotte: (Sheepishly) Right, sorry...

Akko: I'm gonna play it!

Lotte: Akko, wait-

As Akko presses play, the screen starts to shows the lyrics as the song plays with a pop music with a hint of jazz.

Speaker: Had your number on speed dial, You never answered when I reached out. I looked left (see I looked to the left). I looked right (and to the right). But you weren't there. Where the hell, where the hell were you?

Akko: (Surprised) Woah! I'm already liking this song!

Lotte: (Surprised) I gotta say, it's different than I expect.

Sucy: It is catchy, I'll give it that..

Speaker: 24/7 you'd be there for me. No matter what happened, you'd care for me. I looked up (see I looked to the sky). I looked down (and to the ground). But you weren't there. Where the hell, where the hell were you?

Akko: (Starts bopping her head) This is a good one!

Lotte: Yeah! It's a cheerful song.

Sucy: Of course it is...

Speaker: Oh, am I missing something? Is the network down? In your part of town? (We couldn't get through to ya) You didn't hear the phone ring. Cause you're in a crowd, and you're busy now...
