Back in the past?

I'm tired.

I'm exhausted of working hard.

Trying to reach the top...

All my efforts were just made for nothing...

The dream I chased was just a distant one, an unreachable one for someone like me-

I always regretted not spending more time to get know them and have a stronger bond.

My friends, the people who supported and lifted me up through my struggles, and people who taught me life long lessons.

Mom, dad, Grandpa, minna-san... I'm sorry... I'm sorry I wasn't able to fulfill my promise...

A flash of sudden light made sawamura's eyes blink a couple of times until his eyes fully adjusted to his surroundings.

"Eijun you alright?"

Wakana's voice was laced with concern as she looked at him, worry evident in her eyes.

The others, too, gazed at him with the same concern.

Meanwhile, our protagonist-

'Wakana?' Eijun thought, feeling confused with his current situation he was in.

He looked around at his surroundings, Slowly realizing he was seated in a familiar chair, wearing his old Akagi uniform, surrounded by his Old friends.

CLACK-

And then, it clicked.

I'm back in Nagano!?

Well sawamura being brought back to the past was actually not as tragic as it seems to be?

Well more specifically, he was lost in a fog of depressing thoughts, Sawamura's attention drifted far from his surroundings.

On his way back to the team after their defeat, he didn't notice his own foot catching on uneven ground.

SWOSH-

Suddenly, his body lurched forward, and the world snapped back into focus as he found himself falling into darkness as he meets the hallways cold, dirty floor.

At that moment, he sensed something had changed, though he couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. Then, a sudden flash of light blinded his eyes, and before he knew it, he was here.

Sawamura with his sudden flashbacks on what happened before he unexpectedly went back to the past.

He suddenly felt internally embarrassed about it.
