When Jimin arrived back without Yoongi, but with tears in his eyes, Jungkook's stomach clenched so tight he thought he was about to vomit.
So, however bad it sounded, he felt immense relief when Jimin admitted that him and Yoongi just had a fight.

"I mean, it wasn't a fight - was it? I don't know. He didn't say much. I did, though." Jimin sobbed softly as he was working through his emotions. He didn't seem as upset by Yoongi's words, as he did by his own. Tae was sitting behind him, hugging him tightly in a teddybear-like fashion, laying his chin on Jimin's shoulder. Seokjin tried to keep texting Yoongi, but Jungkook was pretty sure if he didn't get a response in the past 15 minutes, he won't get one now. Namjoon seemed to be really deep in thought. Hoseok was nervously fidgeting and walking around in a small circle, Jungkook could only guess what he was nervous about, but his best bet would be that the dance teacher should be here any time now, and everything here is a mess, and somehow, Hobi feels responsible for it all. Jungkook sat next to Jimin and stared at his own thighs.
"I think I'm just being too emotional, you know? Like, it's been a lot lately. And I'm so confused. I don't know what I want. I want you guys to worry less, but then I yell at him for not worrying enough. It's twisted. No matter what I do, everything seems wrong, and the guilt is constant." he kept going.
"You don't have to feel guilty because we care about you." Namjoon stated what was obvious to everyone except for Jimin.
"But I am. And then I feel guilty for not appreciating your care enough. And then I feel guilty anytime I give in to the thoughts and do something I know I shouldn't. But I also feel guilty for eating. It's just always there, and there's no middle ground... "
"Other's care is not something you should earn. It's not a currency. You don't just get it and are expected to pay for it back." Taehyung pointed out.

Jungkook was just about to offer to go try and get Yoongi, so they could talk it through in a calm manner. Knowing what he knew - what only him and Yoongi seemed to know - he was certain this was a misunderstanding. Yoongi was going through something, and the fact that anyone barely noticed only made things that much more complicated.

Before he got the courage to say he'll try to go find him, there was a knock on the door and they all immediately stood up. Jimin quickly wiped his tears and got a hold of himself. Hoseok nervously looked at Namjoon, who shrugged apologetically.
Then, their dance teacher entered.

. . .

While making an excuse for why Yoongi isn't present was easy enough, making an excuse for why they're all so out of focus and barely concentrated was a harder task. Jungkook found himself messing up the combination just on the third or fourth step almost everytime. Everyone else was sloppy, too; Namjoon stiff, Hoseok tense and trying to correct every single mistake before the teacher could, Seokjin seemingly forgetting all the choreography he ever knew and Taehyung repeatedly asking for all the combinations even though they've just been said.
Surprisingly, Jimin seemed to be the one holding up to the usual standards - even though he hasn't been allowed to dance for a month now, and some of these combinations he only learned this morning. He was just as emerged in the art of his body, graceful, expressive and quick learning as any other time.

Sadly, that wasn't quite enough to make up for everyone else's shortcomings, and the teacher ended up leaving grumpy and annoyed.
"Gosh, he's gonna tell everyone we don't work hard enough and -" Seokjin took Hoseok's worried little body by the shoulders and smiled.
"And what? We're not rookies anymore. We're successful now. They can't take your pocket money away anymore." he chuckled.
"Yeah, well, but they can take my parts in the song away if it seems like I don't have the dance routine under control." Hoseok argued. The hyungs made a small group and tried to comfort each other, while all their anxiety was prominent in everything they said. The maknaes shared a knowing look, and then giggled at the elders.
