Gwen and Luke jolted awake simultaneously, their screams echoing through the cabin. "No! Don't go in there!" they shouted in unison, their faces pale as the remnants of their shared nightmare lingered in their minds.
Luke's heart raced as he sat up, his voice shaky. "Did you see that? We were being chased through the woods! It felt so real!"
"Yeah, I thought I was going to trip over a tree root!" Gwen added, her breath still coming in quick bursts. "What was that all about?"
Before they could catch their breath, Luke's scream rang out again, even louder this time. "Ahhh!"
The noise pierced the morning calm and startled Jorge, Griff, Xander, and Ravi, who were in the adjacent cabin. They burst through the door, eyes wide with confusion.
"Dude, what's going on?" Griff asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
"Did you guys have the nightmare too?" Luke exclaimed, still trying to calm his racing heart.
Meanwhile, Gwen's panic had attracted the attention of Sage and April. They rushed in, wide-eyed. "What happened?" Sage asked, glancing at Gwen and Luke.
"We all had the same nightmare about getting chased in the woods!" Gwen explained, a mix of fear and excitement in her voice. "We need a plan to stop it from happening again!"
Xander, always the practical jokester, grinned. "I have an idea! Kikiwaka style! Let's create a 'Good Dream' charm to ward off the nightmares."
Ravi jumped in, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "We can gather supplies from around the camp! We'll need some twine, feathers, and maybe a few lucky stones!"
"Great idea!" Sage clapped her hands. "We can make them together, and everyone can take one to keep by their beds!"
"Let's make it a camp-wide event!" Jorge suggested, his energy infectious. "We can even have a 'Good Dreams' ceremony tonight!"
With their plan taking shape, they divided into teams. Luke and Gwen headed toward the woods to gather feathers, while Sage, Xander, and April searched for twine and stones near the lake. Ravi and Jorge volunteered to decorate a central area for their ceremony, adding colorful banners and lanterns to create a magical atmosphere.
As they worked together, laughter filled the air. Luke and Gwen returned, arms full of feathers. "Look at all these!" Gwen exclaimed, beaming.
"Perfect! Now we just need to tie them to the twine and add the lucky stones," Xander said, already getting to work.
The group collaborated, weaving the feathers and stones into beautiful charms, each one unique. "We should also add some positive affirmations to each charm," Sage suggested. "Like 'Sweet Dreams' or 'You Are Brave.'"
"Let's make a few extras to give to anyone who might need them," April added. "We don't want anyone else to have bad dreams!"
As the sun began to set, the group gathered in a circle in the main cabin. Each camper held their charm tightly, ready for the ceremony.
