**Oreo and King at the Park**"Do you think we'll see Livy and Jonah at the park?" Oreo asked, her brow slightly furrowed as she walked alongside King. The sun hung high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the park. Kids played in the distance, laughter echoing through the air. She was in a good mood; it was a perfect day for an outing.
"Honestly, I hope not," King replied, his tone light but with an edge of seriousness. "I'm just trying to enjoy this day without any drama."
Oreo chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Same. It's just supposed to be us, hanging out and having a good time. No interruptions."
As they approached the park entrance, Oreo felt a slight tension in the air. She couldn't shake the feeling that they might run into Livy and Jonah, especially since they seemed to be everywhere lately, like shadows lurking behind them.
"Look, just act natural, okay?" King said, as if reading her thoughts. "If we see them, we can just ignore them. I'm not in the mood for any games today."
"Right, no games," Oreo replied, her voice more confident than she felt. "Just us and the park."
They walked deeper into the park, the grass soft beneath their shoes, the sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling providing a peaceful backdrop. Oreo took a deep breath, letting the fresh air fill her lungs. She felt lighter, free from the weight of school and its petty dramas.
"Let's sit over there," King suggested, pointing to a shady spot under a large tree. It looked inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the day.
"Good idea," Oreo said, smiling. "I could use some time to just chill."
As they settled onto the grass, Oreo stretched out, leaning back on her elbows and soaking in the sun. King sprawled out next to her, looking completely at ease.
"This is nice," he said, closing his eyes. "Just you, me, and nature."
Oreo was about to respond when she caught sight of two familiar figures approaching. Her stomach dropped. "Oh no... here they come."
"Who?" King asked, glancing over. When he saw Livy and Jonah making their way toward them, his expression shifted slightly.
"Livy and Jonah," Oreo said, trying to keep her tone light. "I thought we might escape them today."
"Guess not," King muttered under his breath, sitting up and adjusting his posture as if bracing himself for a confrontation.
"Hey, look who it is!" Livy called out, a smirk plastered on her face. "The lovebirds are out in public."
Oreo rolled her eyes. "Very original, Livy."
Jonah, leaning against a nearby tree, grinned mischievously. "What's up, King? Missed me?" His voice dripped with sarcasm.
King simply shrugged, trying to maintain his cool demeanor. "Not really."
"Aw, come on," Jonah continued, walking closer. "We're just here to have some fun. Don't be so uptight."
Oreo felt a surge of annoyance. "We weren't invited to your party, Jonah. Maybe you should take the hint."
"Hint? What hint?" Jonah said, feigning innocence. "I'm just here to chat. You know, socialize."
King's expression darkened as Jonah moved closer, invading their space. "Yeah, well, we're not interested in your version of socializing," King replied, trying to keep his voice steady.
"Too bad," Jonah said, taking a step closer to King. "You know I just want to have a little fun. It's not my fault you're so serious all the time."
Oreo felt her heart race as tension filled the air. She could sense that King was getting upset, and she was worried about how he would handle it. "Let's just ignore them, King," she suggested, her voice steady. "We can go somewhere else."
