The sound of a car horn startled Orm awake. It was midnight, and she needed to use the restroom. As she walked towards the window, she saw three women carrying another woman. Her heart sank as she recognized the woman as Lingling and was bleeding heavily. She immediately ran downstairs.

"Ling!" She rushed towards them. "What happened to her?"

"We'll explain everything later." Pansa said. "Right now, she needs to be treated. Where is the doctor?" She addressed the guards, who quickly responded. "She's already in the room, ma'am." With that, they carried the Queenpin inside.

"Doctor, we need you to treat her right away. She's losing a lot of blood." Pansa urged. Lingling looks so pale and everyone in the room is worried.

The doctor immediately began to tend her wounds. The mansion had a dedicated medical room, fully equipped for treating injuries and gunshot wounds. It was the mafia's preparedness for any eventuality, a grim necessity in their world.

The doctor, her gaze sweeping over the room, spoke firmly. "Everyone except Orm needs to leave. She needs to change her clothes."

The girls understood and quietly exited the room. Orm quickly went beside the wounded woman and gently stroked her hair, face etched with worry. "Will she be alright, Doctor?" She asked anxiously.

The Doctor, smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, Nong Orm. I've taken care of her wounds. She just needs to rest and change her clothes - they're soaked in blood." She then stood up. "I'll leave you two alone."

Once the Doctor left, Orm stared at her and exhaled deeply. "Did I just tie myself to a woman who walks through life with a target on her back?" She mumbled before standing up to get the cloth and a basin.

She gently undressed her, carefully wiping away the bloodstains. Then helped her into clean clothes, and settled beside her on the bed, drifting back to sleep while holding her hand.

Downstairs, Pansa was on the phone with the Detective. "They're already locked up in the cell."

"Thank you, Detective. I'll be there tomorrow." She said and was about to hang up but the other line spoke again. "Is Becky available, Miss Vosbien?"

"She left just a few minutes back." After ending the call, The Woman Boss slumped onto the couch.

"Are you okay?" The voice startled her, causing her to turn her head. She saw The Doctor approaching, a coffee cup in her hand. "I made you a coffee."

"Thank you." Pansa replied, accepting the coffee. Love sat down opposite her.

"How is Lingling?" She inquired. The Doctor smiled. "She's stable. Just needs a good long rest and she'll be back to normal tomorrow."

Nodding, She looked at her. "You can use the guest room. It's too late for you to go home now."

The silence stretched between them until Love stood up and prepared to walk. "Ahh, Love? I mean, Doctor."

"Yes?"

Pansa held her gaze for a moment, then a thin smile curved her lips. "After all this trouble, I want to start fresh with you."

Love, however, simply smiled and left.

"Anyone home? It's me!"

"Is that you, Prig?" Yoko called out from inside, approaching the door only to see her friend all dressed up.

"Has Sonya arrived home?"
