BOOM! BOOM!

CLASH! CLASH! CLANG!

CRASH! BOOM!!!

A dense cloud of dust covers the area where multiple trees were either uprooted, littered with kunais, sliced off or burned.

Three large burning Fire Phoenix birds from a fire technique soon erupted dispersing the dust and exploded upon contact with some of the enemies wearing blank masks, who stood motionless for a few seconds due to disorientation from a powerful genjustu, immediately burning them into black crisp along with a small portion of the trees behind them.

"He's really going all out! Hahaha!" Jiraiya bellowed in a burst of a thrilling excitement as he quickly pulled the baffled Kakashi and himself away from the fiery blast.

"...wouldn't this much destruction alert the entire village though?" Kakashi breathlessly commented, dumbfounded by the scene before him with wide eyes.

'He's reputation really did him justice.' He thought in awe of the Uchiha's display of fire power.

"It is to be expected. Having anticipated that brat's anger when he approached us yesterday, this much destruction is already accounted for, thus the Hokage probably is now implementing countermeasures to further our plans into fruition." Jiraiya mused as he watched the battle with a certain gleam in his eyes.

"But damn! That brat is really something else! It wouldn't be farfetched to say that we aren't even needed for this confrontation. Truly worthy of his Uchiha name! Bwahahaha!"

"...I suppose so..."

"...Kaa-san..."

A whisper barely escaped the lips of the boy who slashed at the perplexed woman before him, whom narrowly managed to dodge the blade coming for her neck as she dived to the other side of the room, with her cooking spatula in her grip as her only defense.

With the blade which was once aimed at her shattering the other utensils on the counter, messily scattering it onto the floor.

"Sasuke!" Her Sharingan activated with  pain and confusion on her stiff, bewildered expression.

"What are you doing?!" She shouted desperately as she got into a defensive stance, ignoring the surprisingly untouched boiling pot behind her son, who faced her with a cold and dark demeanour, readying his tanto for another strike.

Without giving any response, 'Sasuke' quickly lunged at her with killing intent as she jumped to the other side, knocking the round table off rolling to the other end of the room, blocking the blade with the spatula and immediately letting it go when it was sliced off and was unfortunately got kicked to the stomach, sending her across to the walls of the hallway with a loud thud.

"...argh...cough..ugh" Wheezing in pain, Mikoto coughed drily and tried to stand shakily back on her feet as she held onto the wall for support.

Looking at her son's cold emotionless face as he stood at the entrance of the trashed kitchen watching her, she felt a great turmoil raging inside. For she couldn't understand why he suddenly attacked her out of the blue. Nor why is he dressed as an ANBU in the first place.

"Sasuke..." she whispered his name in despair and agony, with her eyes soon slightly begin tearing up as she suddenly thought of what he once revealed unto them weeks ago about being controlled.

Her heart refuses to accept it. Nor let her mind comprehend. Due to the intense pain gripping her whenever she thought of it.

For her sweet boy to be subjected in a cruel twist of a wretched old man's game.
