When I arrived home later that night, I took a long bath, sitting in the bathtub for what seemed like hours, but when I stepped out of it and wore my pyjamas, only thirty minutes had passed. My sense of reality and time was getting fucked up and I was more concerned about the Archer. I tipped my head back, muttering a small curse as I trudged towards the living room.
There was a small buzz from the table where my phone was. I checked my phone and smiled when I saw who the message was from. Theo Volkov. He had almost said the three words I had never heard before ever since Lucas died.
"I'll see you soon. I l—"
Theo broke off immediately and my heart started beating faster, my cheeks flushing red. Thank God Theo wasn't right next to me. If he was right next to me and noticed me blushing, he would've made fun of me and teased me.
But I had a feeling. Weren't we going too fast? I mean, Josh and Jules admitted their feelings to each other while they were dating, so something was clearly wrong. But I shook the feeling down. I was going to see Theo tomorrow, so there was no point wallowing in thoughts. I looked back down at my phone.
Theo: hows it going sweetheart
Me: i mean- im just chilling in the living room
Me: where r u atm
Theo: look outside ur house
Me: wtf aint no way ur outside my house
Theo: ;)) im here to give u a little treat
I was wearing my pyjamas, so that was okay. I walked down the hallway towards the door, opening it a little bit to see Theo wearing...oh my God.
He was wearing a white singlet and sweatpants. He smirked down at me, opening the door more and leaning against the frame. "I didn't lie, sweetheart," he drawled, running a hand through his hair. He tugged my chin towards him. "Let's see if that smartass mouth of yours is still cooperating."
He kissed me roughly, his kiss erupting tingles everywhere in my body as I let out a contented sigh, allowing him to wrap his arms around my waist and carry me back towards my bed once more. It reminded me of that one time...
"You're in terrible condition," I teased playfully, cocking a brow in Theo's direction as he stared down at me, his eyes dark and stormy with lust, anger and jealousy.
He pushed me in and shut the door behind me, picking me up and striding towards my bedroom. I didn't know why, but that simple movement made my core start to ache, and as I shifted around in his arms, I could feel something wet in between my thighs. Goddammit.
He placed me on the bed and stalked towards me, before pinning me to the sheets, grabbing my chin and pulling it towards me. "Who the fuck is it? Tell me, so that I can rip out his entrails and strangle him with it." I watched him unbuckle his belt, zip down his pants and free his cock, giving it a slow, experimental stroke. My mouth dried. I couldn't get over how huge he was.
I could feel my arousal slick against my thighs, and for some reason, I shattered under his dominance. Maybe because it was the way there was something other than lust and jealousy in his gaze. It looked almost like...vulnerability. But Theo didn't get vulnerable. He was strong. Resilient. My saviour yet my ultimate ruin.
Sex with Theo was as thrilling as feeling that adrenaline when you're chasing a highly-wanted criminal in a dangerous car-chase, to say the least. But that was just an understatement of what it really was like. It was better than adrenaline, better than that thrill that coursed through your veins every time you went on a rollercoaster. Sometimes, when you went on a rollercoaster or chased a criminal in a car, once you were done, you either didn't want to do it anymore or you wanted to do it again. But my passionate encounters with Theo? I was craving it after it finished, even after I was lying in a boneless heap in his arms.
