Chapter 1

"Dad, please help me out. Just this time" says Taehyung pleading with his father, Kim Seokjin. "Tae I would love to help, but I want you to talk to him directly without my help this time. Also, he is not that scary '' says Seokjin. "Oh really, I think it's time I tell Appa that you always knew about Jimin and Namjoon before he told you both," says Tae.

" Seriously Tae? Go ahead then" says Jin and to check his father's confidence " I'm not kidding Dad, I'm telling appa now". Father and son were so indulged in the conversation, they failed to notice another figure in their room.

" What do you wanna tell me?" asks Jungkook, surprising both. Without wasting a minute Tae tells his appa that his dad always knew about his brother Jimin dating Namjoon way before Jimin told their parents about it and officially asked their permission to date. Jungkook looked at his husband and then asked Tae "What made you think I didn't know about Jimin and Namjoon before Jimin himself admitted?" " So you knew that Dad knew? w-wait, oh no Dad told you everything, but how?"

"Tae, who do you think told me to visit infantry training that day? Also yeobo, Tae wants to tell you something it seems. I've got a meeting with Hoba in 10 minutes so I'm leaving" says Jin gently pressing his lips on Jungkook, ready to leave them to continue the conversation.

"Okay yeobo, take care. See you at dinner with Hobi Hyung. Tae come sit with me. Your dad says you wanna talk about something" says Jungkook to Taehyung who is still processing what his dad told him and doesn't know how to start the conversation with his appa. But then he proceeds to sit and stares at him while fidgeting his fingers.

Jungkook gives him some water and then sits with Taehyung and asks "What do you wanna talk about baby? Is this about you and Yoongi?" Tae choked on water and was too shocked to even look at his appa " Tae? You really think we didn't notice how you look at Yoongi or the way you always pick up fights with alpha boys who tease Omegas as you say but it's always when Yoongi is being teased" asks Jungkook. Tae is dumbstruck and now he knows that he should let his appa know everything but before that, he needs some clarification.

" Appa I get it you both notice things, before I talk about me I wanna know what exactly Dad meant when he asked me who told him to visit infantry training that day?" Jungkook laughs and says "It was me Tae, I told your dad to visit the training station since I knew your brother was gonna be there to see Namjoon. But about you and Yoongi, it was your dad who first started noticing things, Tae baby he is The King for a reason"

Tae feels like a fool for threatening his father with such a dumb matter. Also, Tae realizes "So you both played good cop bad cop with us all these years" Jungkook was all laughing. Tae was sulking seeing his appa having fun looking at the situation. After laughing for a few seconds Jungkook says, " You can say we both mostly know about you guys. Also, I raised not just you but Joonie and Yoongi. To make you feel better, your acting was good since Hobi hyung was so shocked when we told you about you guys"

" What do you mean? So Uncle Hobi knows too? Asks Tae stunned by the revelation. " What? He'll have to know soon or later that you both guys have been hitting on his sons" says Jungkook.

After Hobi's omega passed away due to health complications in the early lives of the boys, both were raised by Jungkook whenever Hobi had to be with Jin in the King's court and battles. Namjoon and Yoongi were loved by Jin and Jungkook.

This also made it super difficult for Jimin and Tae to convince Namjoon and Yoongi to date them since they felt they would be disrespectful to the King and the King to date their prince while they treated them like their own. They feared people would say they both used the affection of the ones who raised them just to hit on their sons. Even though it was the other way around, Tae and Jimin started approaching the other two.

"Wait, you both knew about me and Yoongi. That's why you invited Yoongi too for dinner when you guys and Uncle Hobi discussed Jimin and Namjoon" asks Taehyung realizing his fathers had known everything for so long.

" yeah that's right, I knew Yoongi was hesitant about going out with you. I understood his concerns, being a commoner and going out with the prince whom he loves dearly would make you suddenly feel all eyes on you. I know how he felt firsthand after going through all of it. If not for your dad and his perseverance, I wouldn't be here. I guess you both take that after your father," Jungkook says smiling.

"What do you mean you know about being a commoner, weren't you a prince by birth appa?" asks Tae. Jungkook smiles at his son's ignorance and says " I was not a royal Tae. I was a commoner before marrying your dad, I was a farmer's son. My father passed away when I was 3 years old and my mother passed away when I was 10 years old"

Tae is beyond shocked because no one treated his appa like a commoner and his appa was involved in all decision-making processes with his dad in the implementation of various schemes, even in the royal court. So he says "But you were never treated any different from a royal, even grandpa loved you, and you and grandma still spend so much time together"

Jungkook laughs and says " When did I say your grandparents were never happy with me being your dad's omega? They are the best in-laws one could ask for".

Jimin who enters his appa's room listens to the conversation and joins them, "What are you both talking about?" And that's when Tae tells Jimin about how his appa is not from a royal family. And both of them seem to be so interested in the story but that's when Jungkook realizes it's time for dinner.

"I'll continue this after finishing our dinner. I'll have to get ready for the dinner. Also, I've got something to do before dinner so you guys too go get ready for dinner and join me in the dining hall" says Jungkook.

And that's when Jimin asks his appa " Okay appa, but isn't it family dinner with Uncle Hobi? Can I invite Yoongi and Namjoon? It's just that I wanna invite Joonie and Yoongi will be alone at home. If we invite them both, Tae might give company to Yoongi" "Of course Jiminah" says Jungkook smiling and leaving their bedroom to do his pending work.

" How did I do? Even though Yoongi is my best friend, I made it super casual about how you and Yoongi could spend some time during dinner. Appa might never be suspicious about you both now. You should learn these tricks from me Tae. These helped me going out with Joonie a secret for as long as I wanted" says Jimin proudly.

"Seriously, we shouldn't underestimate Appa and Dad. Also sorry to break it to you, but Dad knew about you and Joonie way long before you told them, but I thought it was just Dad, it seems like Dad and Appa both knew this. Also don't worry, they both know about me and Yoongi too so stop all these useless acts you do to make it seem very casual" says Tae

Tae now understands why his grandma keeps saying his appa is very intelligent and also he now gets how Jimin and Tae both got caught soon every time doing any mischievous activities.

" What!!!" Jimin shouts "What do you mean appa knew? So you mean when I did all this nonsense he saw me right through my lies?"

And Tae says "Exactly" confidently.
