A few days passed, and after countless hours of grueling practice, the day finally arrived for the group’s fanmeeting. They had worked hard, pushing themselves to the limit, knowing that this event would be their last together as a group. The fanmeeting was set in a perfect location in Seoul, at the COEX Artium, a venue often used for fan events. Though it wasn’t as large as a concert hall, it was intimate enough to make every moment with their fans feel personal.
The dressing room was buzzing with activity as their stylists rushed to help them finish getting ready. Clothes were adjusted, makeup was touched up, and hair was carefully styled. Everyone was on edge. As the boys stood in front of the mirror, each of them silently battling their nerves, one of the staff members peeked into the room.
"Ten minutes, guys!" the staff announced, looking around the room.
Hyunwoo, Gyumin, Daniel, Santa, and Riki all shared a glance, their hearts racing. None of them knew exactly how many people would show up. They weren’t the biggest group, and with the recent news of their disbandment, they worried if fans would even care to come. But they had to push those thoughts aside.
The final touches were made to their outfits, and with their in-ear monitors secured, they stood near the stage entrance, waiting for the call to go on. Hyunwoo, as the leader, turned to face the group, his expression serious but filled with determination.
"Okay guys," he started, his voice steady but full of emotion. "This is it. No matter how many people are out there, we just need to do our best. This is our last one, alright? Let’s make it memorable."
The others nodded in agreement, their faces reflecting a mixture of sadness and resolve. They came together in a circle, placing their hands on top of each other, the weight of the moment sinking in.
"Fighting!" they all yelled together, the word reverberating with both hope and bittersweetness.
When they finally stepped out onto the stage, the lights blinded them for a moment, but as their eyes adjusted, they could see the faces of about seventy fans sitting in the audience. It wasn’t a large crowd, but the fact that these people had come to see them one last time filled their hearts with gratitude. The cheers were loud and full of support, and for a second, all the anxiety melted away.
Hyunwoo took a deep breath and stepped forward to lead the greeting. With a smile, he called out their group slogan, "Let’s chase our dream!"
The others joined in with a resounding, "Hi, we are Dreamers!"
The crowd cheered even louder, their energy infectious. For that moment, the boys felt like they were debuting all over again, the familiar rush of excitement surging through them. They quickly got into position for their first song, ‘Run for Our Dream,’ their debut track that had once symbolized all their hopes and ambitions.
As the music started, the beats echoed in the room, and they launched into the performance. Their bodies moved in perfect synchronization, their voices blending in harmony as they sang. The song filled the room with energy, and for a moment, it felt like nothing had changed — they were just five boys, chasing a dream, performing for their fans.
