"I did say that, why?" Jungkook replies skeptically.
"Come on then." Jimin says as he gets up, beckoning him to follow him outside the house.
Jungkook had so many questions but chose to wordlessly follow him.
Jungkook wondered if he should lather sunscreen on himself, but all that vanished once he felt the drastic change in temperature and saw a new hue of orange in the sky.
Jimin observed Jungkook before quickly taking his hand and breaking into a run. Jungkook was taken aback but follows.
Jimin stops when they reach a hill top. Jungkook sat down in awe, the sight in front of him was so foreign.
Jimin sat beside him, watching the sun set slowly, it was a live time-lapse.
Jungkook could not believe it, he turned to Jimin, wanting to exclaim but his facial expression relaxes instead.
Jimin looked ahead, the warm glow of the setting sun illuminating his face, his brown eyes warming up.
Jungkook didn't know which of the views was breathtaking. It was a real crisis.
Jungkook's thoughts sidetracked, he remembers complaining to Jimin how everyone looked so hideous in the sunlight. Jimin had scolded him even before he completed his sentence.
Everyone except Jimin.
Jimin shakes Jungkook and says excitedly.
"Look!"
Jungkook observed how the sun had finally descended, against all odds. The sky changed its hue and it got cold.
"Did everyone except me know about this?" Jungkook asked.
Jimin shrugs.
"I don't know, but now they'll know."
"How did you know?" Jungkook asked.
"It's just Science." Jimin says simply but was surprised when Jungkook actually wanted him to elaborate.
Jimin got excited and turned to him.
The yapping session that followed made no sense to him but he understood one thing.
Never underestimate Jimin.
As the night finally settled in, the two began walking through the streets back to their respective houses. They observed how everyone living in that area sat on chairs outside, some chit- chatting, some playing cards while some just mindlessly staring at the darkened sky.

Jungkook's gaze was fixated on the sky, he was so habituated to the silence of his room that even the silence of the night spoke volumes to him. This change seemed to have switched something in his brain chemistry, he felt curious, he felt alive...
At the same time, he knew that this was temporary and it nagged him in the back of his head.
Jimin was the one guiding him through the street holding his hand, he was glad all his reading was worth it, even if the pay off was a dark night.
Its funny to him that he craved change, he needed something to astonish him every time...like spiders weaving their webs, color-changing chameleons, the immortal jellyfishes...the list could go on.
"We crossed my house, nerd." Jungkook huffs, pulling Jimin out of a deep portal of his thoughts.
Oh...add cute bunnies to the list too, please...
Jimin smiles and nods, trying to cover up for his slip up.
"Of course, I'm aware...You're coming with me."
Jungkook sighs, he had an inkling that Jimin had decided this on instinct.
Oh well, A night at Jimin's didn't sound that bad...right?
Jimin pushes open the gates to his house which made a creaking sound. Jungkook looked at the house and, boy was it straight out of an horror movie.
The nightfall seemed to be a paid actress, adding on to the spooky vibes making Jungkook want to run.
"Hey, come on in" Jimin said. Jungkook tried to gauge for a scared or excited tone in Jimin's voice but he found none.
Jungkook didn't find that comforting.
He gulped and stepped in, surprised by the mellow and warm tone of the house. Jungkook settles on the couch with a sigh, his adrenaline settling down with him.
Jimin places two bowls on the small table in front of the couch. Jungkook looks at it curiously and sits down to drink the red slurry like liquid.
It didn't look great according to Jungkook but waited for Jimin to start.
It's obviously because Jimin was older and not because Jungkook thought it looked like blood..
Jimin raised his eyebrow at Jungkook's fidgety behavior.
