When I turned around my smile dropped, I was miserable, and I heard the boss was in a mood today.
I walked up to the door and took a deep breath then I knocked. "Sir it's me Luna, you needed me." "Yes come in." I opened the door.
I'm not going to lie me, and the boss had history, and it was messy. We met in high school he was the big football player everyone knew and all I was known for was being the top student in art class. I bumped into him one day and he asked for my phone number and it just kind of went from there. But one day we got in a big fight because I saw pictures of him getting close to some other girl at a party. I told him I was going to break up with him, but he wanted to make it up to me and young stupid me agreed he brought me to some private party. He got really drunk and he was acting stupid the whole time with his friends while I was just sitting there. Some guys walked up to our table a pulled guns out and was pointing them at him.
"Where is my money boy." "I-I don't know what you're talking about." the man grabbed him by the caller "I think you do know" boss went down on his knees and begged "I'm sorry I promise I will get your money I don't have it right now." I looked at him and it accidently slipped out
" How pathetic." I said with a slight laugh. The man with the gun turned to me he walked up to me "And who are you?"" I-im-" he slapped me across the face before I could finish. Before he could do anything else the cops showed up. "Cops!" they all ran. My parents got called to the scene and I waited with an officer for my parents the to come get me, but they never showed.
The officer picked up his phone and picked up the call he was getting. I saw him look at me with a pitiful look. "Um your parents they." "They what." "They passed away..."
After that night I don't think I could ever forgive him. He is just a pathetic man that somehow got a good job and I'm working for him because I need a good job like this.
I walked in his office "What is it sir." to be honest it hurt me to show him respect. he slapped a big slap of papers on his desk. " I need these done." Like I said pathetic can't even do his own work. "But sir-" "say another word and I'm going to make you finish it all today." "Okay sir."
What an ass that man in. I left his office and started working it was five so that's mean work is over finally. I got half of the stack he gave me done so a felt a little better. I got in my car and drove to the house I walked in to see Sunoo sitting on the couch in his pajamas watching a kdrama.
"Hey, I saw the big stack on your desk man can't even do his own work." "Thats what I was saying."
I walked to the kitchen looking for some food to eat when I heard a screech come for the living room. "WHAT IS IT?" I said holding up a pan the air ready to swing if there was an intruder. Sunoo ran up to me with the biggest smile. "Dang Luna put down the pan." " What were you screaming about." "I know what to do for your birthday now." "And what would that be?" "Partying." "Well, that's not a big surprise I already thought we were going to do that." " Well yea but were partying in NEWYORK!!" " What are you talking about Newyork is far away from here we have to get a plane and everything."
