The next day, Devi's sister calls, and even after a heated argument at home, there is no peace. The guy rejected the proposal after talking to Devi, so something must have happened, but Devi's father took her side and explained to her sister that if Devi doesn't want it, why is she being forced? However, Devi's mother got angry and took the sister's side. Feeling distressed, Devi goes outside and sits alone.
Devi is thinking, "Can't my life run without marriage? Why is everyone pushing me?" Just then, Devika arrives with her bag, and Devi asks, "Why did you come here instead of going to college today?"
Devika replies, "Janvi called me. I don't know why."
Janvi arrives, shouting, "Hiii!" Her brother Yogesh and Sunita are with her. Sunita, who was walking with Janvi, starts running ahead, but Janvi doesn't race her. After reaching first, Sunita teases Janvi for being so slow. Sunita and Janvi don't really get along because Sunita turns everything into a race.
Yogesh's friend Vicky is also there.
Devi asks, "Did you all come to my house? What's going on?"
Janvi, laughing, says, "I invited everyone."
Devi asks, "But why?"
Janvi laughs and says, "Because today is my birthday! I knew you all would forget, so I decided to remind you."
Everyone was initially worried but soon burst into laughter, except for Devi, who remained sad. Devi's father heard Janvi's voice, and her mother came out, saying, "Your friends are here?"
Devi replied, "Yes, mom."
"I'll make some tea."
Devi said, "No, mom, this is Janvi..."
Janvi interrupted, "Aunty, I'm throwing a birthday party today, and I need permission for Devi to come."
Devi's father said, "Go ahead, but be back late." Devi's mother added, "Come back on time, but you can go. Happy birthday, dear."
Devi put on a suit, packed a water bottle in her college bag, and grabbed her phone.
A little while later, a car arrived, and Sunita asked, "Such a nice car?"
Devika replied, "My dad arranged it when he found out my friend's birthday was today. Janvi called me yesterday, so my dad arranged breakfast for all of us at a hotel, and then Janvi is taking us to a movie."
Janvi said, "Devika, you told them everything! It was supposed to be a surprise."
Yogesh opened the car door and said, "After you."
Vicky grabbed Yogesh's hand, closed the door, and said, "Let Janvi, the birthday girl, go first."
Janvi blushed. After her, Devika got in, followed by Sunita and then Devi. Yogesh and Vicky sat together.
As the car started, Devi felt scared, which Devika noticed, realizing it was Devi's first time in a car. Janvi was shouting with excitement, so Sunita covered her mouth and said, "Stop yelling; my ears are hurting."
Devika asked Devi, "Do you need water?"
Devi said, "I have some."
Janvi also noticed that Devi seemed frightened and sad, so she stopped shouting. Then Sunita angrily asked, "It's your birthday, but what will it take for you to be quiet?"
Janvi replied, "Devi, come sit next to me! See, it's so much fun here. Sunita, go sit where Devi was."
Sunita, annoyed, moved to sit next to Devi, and now the order was Janvi, then Devi, then Devika, with Sunita at the end.
