I hurriedly walked inside of the 11 story glass building and made my way to the front desk. A woman with strawberry blonde hair looked up from her computer screen and greeted me with a welcoming smile.

"Hi , welcome to Payne's publishings how may I assist you today?" She questioned

I smiled at the woman before pulling out the letter I received earlier in the week from boss of the company.
"Hi, I'm Kimberly Summers. I'm the new intern for the summer." (haH HEr last name is summers and shes workin 4 the summer LOl) I respond

She hurridly types away on her computer while nodding her head.

"Ahhh yes, Ms.Summers, you are to report to Mr.Payne right away. Take the elevator to the top floor and his office is straight down to the right"

Nodding, I silently thanked the woman and found my way to the elevator. I felt extremely nervous and my palms just wouldn't stop sweating. Pressing the button , immediatly the elevator arrived in seconds. I made my way on and pressed the 11th button making my way up.

"Relax kim you can do this." I whispered to myself. I could not make a fool of myself if i planned on staying longer than just a summer.

As if on cue the ding of the elevator snapped me out of my thoughts. That was fast , i thought to myself.

I followed the directions i was previously given and make my way to my bosses office just as my phone lights up with a text from my best friend jack.

Jaaack g: Are you there yet kim???

Jaaack g: ???

Jaaack g: Kimberly ann

Jaaack g: HELLOOOO

Jaaack g: are you ignoring me?

Jaaack g: omg maybe youre working sRy

Me: shut up jack omfg

Jaaack g: im tryna be a good friend

Jaaack g: im honestly feelin so attacked rn gn

Me: I'm going in now stfu i'll text u later doofus

Throwing my phone back into my bag completely ignoring all vibrations i made my way to Mr.Payne's door. I can totally do this, its OKAY. I reassured myself.

I lightly tapped the door three times patiently awaiting a response.

"Come in!" A deep voice called out. The man had a thick british accent so i could only assume it was Mr.Payne himself.

I slowly opened the door smiling confidently as i did so.

"Hello sir, I'm Ki-"

"Kimberly Ann , I've been expecting you sit down"

I nodded slightly and sat down.

"I was very impressed with your application , hence why you're here right now. You'll be working in a small office on the 10th floor. One of my workers, Samuel Wilkinson will show you around. You get a 45 minute lunch break whenever you choose. Other than that enjoy your day , Ms.Summers." He told me

Oh my... the way he said my name made me tingly inside. He's a very attractive young man, with his luscious hair and his amazing facial hair. He looks like a god.

"Thank you once again Mr.Payne, have a nice day." I said while making my way out the door.
