"Yeehaw." Will says as he puts his cowboy hat on his head.

We are in a hotel room in Austin, Texas. I've got Nico and Will dressed in overalls, cowboy hats, and cowboy boots. I'm dressed the same, but the difference is that it looks totally awesome on me and Nico looks like a five-year-old on Halloween. Will looks okay but only because it's natural for him. He would better suit a surfer boy look, but now isn't the time or place for it.

I'll dress them up that way next time we go to California.

"I'm not putting this on." Nico says, holding his own cowboy hat that we got him.

"C'mon, you'll fit in." Will complains.

"I'll look stupid, just like you guys do."

"Hey, I look awesome," I tip my hat at him, "Ma'am."

"..." Nico starts grumbling incoherently (or in Italian, I don't know the difference), putting his hat on. It looks hilarious.

"Y'all look great, I promise. No one will bat an eye at us this way, we'll blend in." Will says.

"Shush." He tells him, trying to adjust his hair under the hat.

"It's the truth! Good outfit choices, Leo." He compliments me.

"You're welcome! Hey, I stuck to your styles."

Will has a long-sleeved orange shirt, soft denim overalls that are tied over the shoulders, and a brown cowboy hat with matching boots. Nico has dark wash overalls that he is refusing to wear right, letting the top part hang, and I made sure to give him black boots and a black hat. He also kept putting his jacket on, so I let him keep it even though it didn't go with the rest of his outfit.

I'm wearing a white tank top so I'm super sexy and a tan hat and tan boots. We couldn't be any cooler if we tried...given the setting we're going to.

Have I mentioned where we're going? Nope, sorry.

We're stopping at Will's favorite BBQ place here in his hometown, before going to see his mother, the Naomi Solace.

I didn't know who she was before I met him, but now I like her. Will showed me her music.

"You did, color me impressed." He says, tipping his hat at me.

I do it back at him and Nico starts gagging exaggeratedly. "Stop, please." He begs, making me laugh.

Will laughs too. "C'mon, let us lay some southern charm on you."

"No such thing." He says.

"What?! We're proving that there is right now."

"There isn't anything charming about either of you."

"He'll change his mind after he sees line dancing." I tell Will.

"Hey, we did some square dancing together and he just made fun of me the whole time." Will informs me. "He would probably love line dancing."

They did what now...?

"Bullshit." Nico says, crossing his arms.

I stop laughing at him entirely and switch to nervously glancing at him. Is he actually mad? It's hard to tell. Today is not the day to get killed by zombies.

"You would not love line dancing, you're right. You might love watching us be ridiculous at least." Will says.

"Someone better buy me a shot of vodka if you're expecting me to love that." Nico says.
